    guess what?

I had an offer on my home (in the city on two city lots 2 bedrooms one bath and small basment and the house appraised at 85,000.) to trade total even swap for a house that aprasiess for 89,000 with four bedrooms one bathroom no basement but has 11.4 acres a 24x40 pole barn and two car garage. and several fenced things like for chickens and pigs and stuff. it is very over grown and hasnt been lived in for a year but the guy said he needs a rental and i had mentioned i wanted a farm to live self suffiency off of and with me on SSI and bad credit there wasnt any way i could afford a small farm... so we are making a deal. god i am so excited... but here is my dilimea...help..i am a total city girl never farmed in her life but loves amimals and is living off 556.00 a month with the roomate going with me that also makes 556 also on SSI we each get 139 a month in food stamps but i have no idea how to do it and run a small farm off that...but have been told farmers srimp and scrap all the time and still make it and live very well... any help in these depts would help me greatly. rabbits goats chickens bulildings or how to do it or maintain them any size garden i ever want (got 11 acres now god can i go wild now and can to my hearts desire) greenhousees or how to build them cold beds prices for animals like what is too high and what not to get or why i will be feeding my self and roomate but have my teenager for 12 weeks over the summer to feed as well..and older college kids that come every holiday how to butcher animals (got a quaote of 45 a head to butcher a goat...seems way too high for me) chicken pluckers pros and cons are they worth the money god anything i am leaving out here>? got lots of books already off ebay...but any thig i may have to get to have for my own library? and are there any michigan farmers here? thansk teri
  12. am looking for a way to make this laquire if any one has it please post it please3 ...want to make it for christmas... thanks Teri
  13. when i first came on this site i assumed it was "just another frugal site linked from another page i had been on. i am on like 27 yahoo groups just for fruglaity and so many linked pages to see oftne to keep up with recipes. you see this past year i had alot happen in septenber my two older kids moved out and move away to go to college away from home. i then got divorced in novemver 1st my youngest decided she was used to dads high living of 75,00 a year and moms income went down to 556.00 a month so she then moved in with him. so you see two kids moved, divorced, then youngest moved, oh did i also mention i lost my job of 17 years that i was making 55,000 a year as well due to a ovelry severe depressive mood swing due to me being bi-polar and went on SSI... well...i am now living with a roomate and a 1 year old puppy to keep me comapny and i have had to quickly discover fruglaity fast. but due to some prior investing i had bought some die cuts and die cutting maching to sell for scrapbooking on ebay for extra cash here and there and i own two web sites that make me some spare cash on the side. one of them being a survey profit in which you take surveys and get tons of free stuff not always just cash but lots of free stuff. normally i make it a paid member ship but if you are a member email me and mention this list and we can make a freeby deal. just for the great advice i got from here. you have no idea how many great peo-le i have met here and all the great advice i have gotten from just this one site, comapired to all the other places on the entire net combined. and it was all from going from following one link to another. so..if ever you think oh its just another link... follow it..you never know if that is that one you will find your refuge.. for this place has made my day every day since i found it. always a positive face or a great word...guess i had better say... i am in no way afficialtiated with this site in any way...i sound like a walking advertizement but gosh... for a bi-polar person to find a place to hang her head and find others that accept her and not turn her away it is a nce place to call home to me... hugs you all... Teri
