That's interesting. I have some RIR hens and a couple red sex links. I think they all have reddish ear tufts. Someone lays a white egg, but I have yet to figure out who it is. I've read where the color of the egg is the last thing to happen to the egg. Maybe someone who really knows will chime in. You learn something new every day.

I'm waiting for my first patty pans from the garden. Slice thin, salt and pepper, then dredge in flour. Fry in a cast iron skillet till brown on both sides. Serve hot! YUMMY
