This is very interesting. I have been taking something for high Cholesterol for wow, let me see if I can think that far back I think it was about 30 years give or take. The doctors don't tell you everything at all. I have had sinus infection for a long time and just trying to get over another one. Well, my back started to hurt bad so like a good patient, I went to my chiropractor yesterday and guess what. I am not wearing a brand new white belt and will be wearing it for 4 to 6 week. Yes, a fracture in my back. I coughed to hard I guess. But, it was because of what I too and have taken for the last several times I had sinus infection, or was it. When I said I had taken 5 days of Prednisone, my doctor. looked at me and told me it will eat the bones. Ok now, I ask you, why would a doctor give me something that will damage my bones when they know I have Osteoporosis? Man I can't figure these doctors out at all. So next time they say something about Prednisone I will say NO. I got Doxycycline to, but the Prednisone just is not going to happen again. Now, I think I will be asking more questions when I go to the doctors.

Good morning everyone. I know I am so late with this and please forgive me again. I have been sick for the past two weeks, sinus infection. I did something I knew was wrong to do. I went outside without a jacket on as well as nothing on my head. It was chilly outside but, I wanted to get the leaves off the decks. I did and wished I had put a jacket on. I have been working on crafts as we had a show the first Saturday of October and it went well. We have another one coming up the first Saturday in November so have to get some things made for that one too. Anyway, I just haven't been up to doing a lot. With all of that said, it is really late but we can still do this. By now most if not all of you know the rules for the Ornament Exchanges. Message me with your name and address as soon as possible and I will put the list together and message it all to you. Then, make an ornament and sent one to each person on the list. So, please message me withing the next week or two as I will be out of town for a while after the next craft show. Just have fun making them and then look forward to getting the other ones. If you are able to, please mail them before or shortly after Thanksgiving. Any questions add to this thread. Snowmom

Thank you all for the comments on the house. It is really so nice, it has a split entry so there are stairs for us to use for exercise. Nancy's office is down stairs and an extra bedroom is down there. I use the little bedroom upstairs for my computer. The room is so small there is no way you could have more than a twin bed and dresser in there. Then, I have the bedroom next to it and Nancy has the master bedroom and bath for herself. There is a bathroom down stairs and it is larger than both of the ones up stairs. We are not all unpacked yet, but that is ok. It will get done little at al time. to all.

Wow, this is very interesting. I just shared it to Face book. We have a jar of garlic in our refrigerator right now. I think I am going to check to see if it says where it is from. Thank you for sharing this video. I had no idea some garlic came/comes from China.

Swap some stories maybe even. Homesteader, you will have some good info from the sounds of it. Be sure to get everything you want to know from your mother too. I regret not questioning my dad more years ago when I was in school. That was a very long time ago. Ann, I know that at one time, I'm thinking it was you, were able to help me with the Lee side of my family. Thank you Jeepers. Of course it isn't a real tree, with all of my allergies and stuff, we just don't put up a real one. Midnightmom, I love the ornament, thank you so much. It is on the tree. Thank you to everyone who joined in the exchange this year. It has been mentioned to me that starting next year we need to make sure that the year is someplace on the ornament or a paper taped to it or something. That way we know what year we got it. Some of us are getting older and sometimes don't remember all those dates. I think I am probably the oldest one in Mrs. S. Want to see some pictures of our home?? The tree is on the other side of this wall. Of course this is part of the kitchen. Part of our living room. More of the living room We have pillows and throws for those who want to us them.

The wall behind is a wall of cupboards.

Hi, I had mine sent on November 19th. My niece took them to the P.O. for me. We didn't get our mail today so not sure if I got one or not. Wow, that was fast mommato3boys, was it all in one piece or had it gotten broken??

Good Morning, I have saved some of the lids for several years and reuse them on Jelly but not on anything else. Homesteader, I understand your mom liking gravy, I do too. I also understand the need to sell things. When we moved this summer, we got rid of a LOT of stuff. I'm still sorting and getting rid of things. Give your mom a hug for me.

I really have missed being here and I will try my best to check in a LOT more often. I had been out to eat with a class mate in August, then in September there were 5 of us classmates eating out together. It was really good to be able to visit with all of them. I do have everything they say to stay away from the covid though. Heart, I am on my 3rd pace maker, kidney problems stage 3 kidney disease, COPD, never smoked a day in my life, Gary did. I have diabetes and a lot of allergies and of course asthma. So I am just careful who I am around. My one son lives in Fargo and he comes most weekends. There is also another guy who has called me mom for years who I see once in a while as well as my niece who helped with the move who has gotten some groceries for us as well as our pastor and some times he brings one of his kids with him. So I do see others. It is just I don't want to take any chances in a store. Thank you Littlesister for the prayers. Snowmom

Hi everyone, I know it has been a very long time since I have been in here. We have had so much going on for the past several months and it would take me a while to post about all of it. I think I will just start with March 15th as that was the last day I went to church. I have not been in Wal-Mart or any grocery store since March 13th or 14th. Like a lot of you out there, I have so many medical problems I don’t want to be around people more than I need to be. So, now the story starts. I had lived in the house next to a golf course for 49 years and the owners of the golf course was after my daughter, who had bought it from Gary and me a few years after she came home. I’m thinking it was in March they had a realter talk to DD. After talking to her, she came home and told me a lot that was going to be happening there. To make a long story short or at least shorter, they are building town houses and they started one of them in June. DD signed to sell the house and land to them in June and so we had to start looking for a new home. Right now, they have one home up, at least the outside if it, and a second one started that is just beyond where the property line was. They did buy it all and they started making a road shortly after. They pushed into the back of our little storage building while the road was being made. I’m thinking the town house that is up is not much more than 100 feet from our south end of what was our house. So, you see, we have been busy finding a new home and moving a little at a time. They did give us until the end of September to get out of the house and it was a good thing as it was about the 26h or 27th when we did get everything out. If it hadn’t been for some of my relatives, we could not have made the deadline. By the time DD got through with work in the late afternoon she was tired. Anyway, we are now in a very nice home and are still unpacking. Remember, 49 years is a long time to be collecting things and stuff. We did get rid of a lot of things and are still going through more things. Before we were completely moved in, one of my grandsons called and needed a place to stay. So, we had the room and we said yes. So, he and his girlfriend moved in. He did help a lot while we were moving but of course, there was a lot more he could have done after we were moved in. The kids left almost 2 weeks ago so now it is just the 2 of us and we are starting to relax some. Yes, there is still a lot of stuff to unpack and decide where to put it or what to do with it. Now, the kicker is the fact that we have both been blocked on face book. So, I’m not sure where they are and or what they are doing. According to him they would be moving to central N. D. but, I am not so sure about that. He has a friend that was suppose to get them and it wasn’t a friend that picked them up, it was his mom. I have a feeling they are going back to where they had been. My poor son was so shaken up that morning when they were leaving that his voice shook even. He is thinking he won’t see his son again. So, yes, we have been going through a lot not just the move. So, now with the Covid19 and all, I am very careful who I am around. I just talked to a friend from church that just lost her husband a couple weeks ago and now she has Covid19. Please everyone, be careful where you go and who you are around. Our county now has 423 cases or at least that is how many have tested positive for Covid19. Snowmom
