We have lovely weather for a change sunny and blue skies. So we are making the most of it by washing some blankets and large towels we have that have been sitting in a cupboard for awhile. We have quite a dilemma on our hands at the moment. As some of you know we lost our son last year. We have 2 DDs One is in Australia with her DH and their 2 girls she has told told us she is having another baby in Jan. Our other DD lives in Manchester U.K. with her DH and she also is having her first baby in Oct. Then next April she and her little family are moving to Australia as he has been offered a job there. Both girls have been talking and have asked us to move out there in the next 3 years or so. As once my DD goes we will be on or own. So we have a lot of thinking to do Also a lot of :pray:

It is lovely here sunny and warm about 68 degrees. So working outside slowly does it.

Hope you and your DH feel better soon Today we are going to clear the shed out and look at each item before it goes back. There is so much stuff in there so a big clear then we can take the rubbish to the tip.

Morning all, Our weather here is crazy. In the last two weeks we have had heavy rain, snow, hailstones and sunny days. The weather is all over the place. I asked a 89 year old man who lives close by about the weather. He said hes never seen anything like it. Never seen snow in May before.

Well I didnt stay for long. My life was turned upside down in June. My DS was found dead in his bed by a friend as he had not turned up for work and was not answering his phone. His friend called round and knew he was at home as his car was still sitting outside his flat. So looked through the windows and saw him still in bed so he broke the door down as he wasnt answering But he already had passed away, he died in his sleep We know now that James knew nothing of what happened it was so quick in his sleep. He had a massive double haemorrhage I am glad he did not suffer.James was my only son he was only 39. He never married as he loved travelling all over the world. He told me once he knew we wasnt going to reach old age that why he lived every minute of his life as if it was his last. We had people from all over the world come to his funeral service, it was lovely to meet all these people that knew my son and loved him. It took me awhile to accept that I would never see that smiling face again or have one of his bear hugs he used to give. I still have some of his friends call in to see if we are okay. I know the Lord needed him more that me and we will meet again. I will be back in the new year I want to wish everyone a happy new year and may a your wishes come true Daisy

Thank you Ladies for the welcome back

I joined in Nov 2014 was on for a few days. Then I hurt my left arm and shoulder, it had to be strapped to my body for a few weeks until the new year. I had surgery on the 15th Jan had my rotator cuff tendon repaired also had some of the bone shaved off as I had spurs on it caused by degenerative arthritis. My arm strapped to my body for three weeks and then physiotherapy for three months. So I am now taking it slowly and doing easy things to start with. My OH has been so good taking over all the and helping me shower and dress for the last six months. I am so glad he is retired it would have been so hard if he had of been still at work. I have been reading along but couldnt type. I have been praying for everyone who needed it over the last six months. It is so good to be back :hapydancsmil:

Hi everyone, I have been reading the forum for about a year now, so though it was time I joined. I am 58 and have a few health issues, OH is 67 and is my rock. I have learned so much from the forum a feel like I belong here.
