  1. If you would like to conserve water and save money at the same time think about harvesting rainwater for your yard and garden. It is really not that hard to do. One simple method is put gutters on your roof that run into storage barrels when it rains. Just a short rain can fill up them all.     Water damage to the home can mean big dollars going out the window if the home owner doesn't take care of it immediately. The longer water is in contact with wood, drywall, carpets or anything else the more damage it is going to do. Not only that, but in a very short period can start growing which not only does more damage but can be a health hazard.   7. I am 66 and can remember my parent and grandparents both telling me to eat my fruit and vegetables because they were good for me. Well, I don't know how they knew back then but modern scientist have found they were right now that we can actually look inside fruits and vegetables and see what healthy nutrients they have. It wouldn't be a bad idea for some of the more modern countries to do it as well, especially in areas where there are sometimes drought. Rainwater is clean and pure to drink if harvested in clean containers.
