Darlene is the owner of MrsSurvival.com. Her background includes many years in the management of a family law firm in Miami, Florida.  Her vision and commitment to the women at MrsSurvival.com is to provide a place where women may freely exchange thoughts, feelings and knowledge so that that all may further realize the potential that lies within.

Cathy lives in the Midwest countryside, where she gardens and tends her own farm animals.  She loves writing, crafts, sewing, needlework, cooking and baking. Having traveled to Brazil several times, she has a lifetime interest in that country. Cathy and her family are active in their church, and she enjoys the special treasures the Internet brings in that area of her life. Cat is one of the first people that new members meet at MrsSurvival. Her graciousness and hospitality bring a special touch to the site.

Caveman is married to his best friend, "Mare", and plans on walking off into a lovely sunset with her...hand in hand! He likes building things with his own two hands and likes helping others where and when he can. Computers, cooking, cars and music have been his hobbies at one point or another!

Ginger is a dedicated herbal gardener from the Midwest, and is working on creating her property into a mini-farm. She’s first and foremost a wonderful Christian wife and mother. Ginger enjoys the pleasure of bringing the scriptures alive, and being an example for younger women and mothers.

Becca_Anne has finally realized her dream of moving back to the west and is now living in Southern Oregon with her husband of 13 years, and her four lively children. She is an avid reader and especially enjoys learning more about self-sufficient living. In addition to her job of Director of Household Operations, Becca_Anne homeschools her daughter and is the family historian. Someday she hopes to own a small homestead where she can pursue her love of gardening. Becca_Anne also enjoys her artistic talents in creating quilts and other craft projects.


Dee
Moderator - Daily Diary; The Orchard and Within These Pages

Dee and her husband Galen live on a farm in the Midwest and are the parents of two grown children. Her favorite relaxation is reading and she is the moderator of “Within These Pages”. Some of her other hobbies include gardening and canning. She hopes to add traveling to that when her husband retires. She works as a part-time librarian and part-time preschool teacher.

Patty has been interested in fitness for many years as a way to promote and maintain good health. She feels that a strong and fit body will be able to handle most illnesses without invasive procedures. She has worked both in public radio and in the industrial workplace. In her spare time, Patty enjoys the pleasures of gardening and canning her yearly harvest.

HappyGirl is a young stay at home mom of a lovely three year old. She enjoys cooking, baking, crafts, and anything that has to do with homemaking. She has been married to a great man for six and a half years. She was born into a missionary family in Mexico, and loves the many different experiences she had while growing up there.

Lois is from the fingerlakes region of NY. She loves the challenge of learning to do things. She is not an expert at anything, but has 62 years experience at living, through good times and bad. She has studied natural healing and herbs for about 7 years. She has been married for 45 years, has two living children, 6 grandchildren aged from 8 to 26, 5 great grandchildren, including a set of twins. She lives in a rural area and loves the serenity of summer nights.

Mare is married to her best friend, "Caveman", and looks forward to a long retirement with him. She is mom to a clownish, 30 lb furball dog. She loves to cook, read, travel, scrapbook, and show model horses. She currently lives in the southwest.

Momo lives on a mini-farm in North Alabama with her DH and alot of critters. She helps her hubby with the chores, animals and gardening. Her hobbies are fishing, knitting, sewing, genealogy and cooking.(and eating ,which leads to her other hobby of perpetual dieting)


Candy (Motherearth)
Moderator – Homesteading

Candy lives in the West and is a true homesteader. She and her family live on a farm and have raised cows, goats, sheep, hogs, turkeys, chickens, geese, horses, and countless small critters. She is an avid gardener and raises the majority of the food for her large family.  She enjoys the rhythm of country life with the animal husbandry, woodstove cooking, sewing, making soaps, and the many other tasks of a simpler life.


Karla (Nanapop)
Moderator - DOOL, Women's Issues, Are You Really Ready?

Karla owns her own business and is very gifted in creative art. She enjoys cooking, reading, music, and of course, the Northwest region of the country.  She has lived in, or visited, nearly every state in the country, and is a great resource for those from Mrs-Survival who live in the Northwest.

Carol is from the upper Midwest and has spent many years in genealogy research. She’s been the author of a family newsletter for the past several years, and has found many distant relatives in her research. On the artistic side, Carol is an excellent quilter, and has won many ribbons at county fairs for her sewing. She also worked in a Christian school for several years, and has volunteered for 10 years with the Girl Scouts.
