I've been up for ages....the @#%$#@^*^$&^@$% Fire alarms keep going off in our hallway...they are hard wired in....there is a short in one of them -all the hallways and the cellar alarms are tied in together so if one goes off they all join in...and they arent the high pitch beep...it's a blairing grating noice..(i live in a 3 decker...ea floor has an alarm front and back.....and they echo and intensify the noise)....I've been waiting for the landlord to come and fix em (my brother-in-law) and he won't come till wednesday.......so after hearing that...debbie climbs up a ladder and yanks a couple down.....I AINT LIVIN LIKE THAT till wednesday....... logcabinmama Posted November 2, 2002 Share Posted November 2, 2002 Man, Beb, you beat me today. I had to do other posting first and so now I am here. Trying to see where Spit-Spot has been. Yes, all of you need to stop picking on me, after all, I am older than all of you others. I think. This is so much fun just being able to post and have such great fun. I've been wondering the same thing about Spit's DH and Brigie's brother. Hope things are ok with everyone. I was gone the other day all day and so didn't get on line at all, if I remember rightly except to find some information for someone and that was a 2 minute on line. Thursdays I go to the nursing home and help out there. So, if I miss sometimes on that day, you will know why. Two times a year we have to go to Fargo for my pace maker check up, so those days I don't get on line as a rule either. Of course, there are other days too that I might miss. Like having another child around...hard to see him fade(get worse)......many many appointments ....so busy....no concrete results yet .......so down.....here is the only place I can forget for awhile.....I am not a down person, as you all can maybe see.....it's hard though....so I come here to play...will tell more in a few days after we travel to Edmonton to see new specialist.....let's hope he has something to say.. It does work for a short while. Try to think positive, easier said than done, I know. If you don't mind my saying men can be a real pain when they are sick. Nothing against him, that's just the way they are. Good luck with the specialist, we will all be waiting to hear the news. There are days like that and will be more. I need to get busy and get my two quilts done before Christmas. So sorry things aren't going as well as you had hope, Spit. Hope the new dr. will give some better news. We really enjoy having you post so much. It is a nice game to get on each time and see how much you get around. Brigie, Kaye, my niece is about the same. We took her something to eat and she was happy. She told me a week ago, that Wednesdays are her favorite days. That is because she knows we are coming and that we will bring her some 'Good' food. Thursday went well at Chapel, there were a lot of the residents there. Then after we were done, we went out for lunch. Ok, now, who is going to turn page? ------------------ Quote Link to comment
