susie Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 Hi, y'all! We spent the summer at a local campground. I cleaned toilets in exchange for the most wonderful holiday ever. It was a Dutch campground, so most of the campers were from Holland...but they ALL speak English, even the baby ones. It was as if we were a thousand kilometers from home in another world, instead of just three. The kids learned to ride, we swam, bounced on the trampolines, went canoeing, rafting, paintballing, and made loads of new friends. I worked and had fun and talked all day to people and enjoed my kids. It's difficult to be back in town where there are no trees or chickens or ponies or nice Dutch people to speak with. I have missed you all and now it's time to catch up on all the latest and respond to PMs. susie Link to comment
