Crazy4Canning
Westie, You make me want to because I don't drink coffee...hardly at all anymore...unless I'm around some coffee drinkers (like Trip!) and some of that non-dairy creamer is just disgusting! Eeeww! Is there a particular brand that tastes better than another? Link to comment

ol'momma
Smart people. I shouldn't drink it. It's bad for you... but, I got hooked on it when I was about 10 and now I cna't get through a day without it. I'll take it black rather then use that artificial creamer. Some of that stuff is NASTY! (we-eell...maybe these recipes will force me to reconsider. ) Link to comment
Ginger
I make this instant hot tea recipe every Christmas for gift giving. It can chase a cold or a flu away for sure with all the potent spices. Chai Tea Mix 1 cup nonfat dry milk powder 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer 1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer 2 1/2 cups white sugar 1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea 2 teaspoons ground ginger 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground cardamom Directions : In a large bowl, combine milk powder, non-dairy creamer, vanilla flavored creamer, sugar and instant tea. Stir in ginger, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. In a blender or food processor, blend 1 cup at a time, until mixture is the consistency of fine powder. To serve: Stir 2 heaping tablespoons Chai tea mixture into a mug of hot water. Note: You may choose to omit the French vanilla creamer, and use 2 teaspoons vanilla extract instead. To do so, mix the vanilla into the sugar, let it dry, then break the sugar into small lumps. Follow the same procedure as above. * I make a sugar free version using equal amounts of splenda that turn out really well. Also I do not use the vanilla flavored creamer or add vanilla and it still is mighty delicious. Enjoy! Link to comment
