How to Post Gallery Photos

So here's how I added photos and made my own gallery.

 

 

First, Click on GALLERY.

 

There you will see various ALBUMS - personal, community, titles like Kitchen, Garden, etc.

 

Let's pick on Kitchen for this one.

 

Click on Kitchen.

 

A new image will come up "In the Kitchen"

You will see 2 ALBUMS there, and a box to the right that says "New Album"

 

If you want to add your own photos to this, click on NEW ALBUM.

 

A new screen will appear called "CONTROL PANEL"

 

Type in the Name of your Album,

Type a short description of the photo, etc.

Choose the appropriate category, if you want.

Click on 'public' if you want others to view it.

 

Now, click on the box to "UPLOAD IMAGE"

You then search for the photo(s) you want to share.

 

When it is uploaded, click CREATE ALBUM.

 

You now have an album with photos in it.

 

You can upload quite a few photos this way.

 

 

Give it a whirl. Do post here if you have any trouble.

 

 

So, to EDIT your ALBUM, meaning to ADD or DELETE photos or comments,

 

Look at the 'Menu' at the top or side of your screen to find "MY ALBUMS"

 

Click on it.

 

You will see your albums.

 

At this point you repeat what is in the previous e-mail.

didn't work. followed the direction to the T. got an error. said the upload didn't work. screwy way to load pics anyways. thats how to post them in a reply on the board NOT for an album or gallery. weird.

I've asked questions about other things on here not working and I never see a reply, so I won't hold my breath on this one either. strange way to run a board IMO, that is

HAd it in 'my computer' - didn't work?

also had it in 'photobucket - didn't work?

Okay, I was posting photos in the garden section and just got the error message you all did.

 

My file ending was WRONG. I was trying to upload a photo in a format that wasn't recognized by our site.

 

Please try posting ONLY in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or .png.

 

.bmp or others will NOT work.

 

I changed my photo format and it uploaded FINE.

 

Try it and tell me if you still have trouble.

 

We'll get through this! Thanks for your perseverance.

after lots of tring it your way I finally found out what was wrong?

 

On our computer when we are using 'Aplite Earth' skin you have to scroll to the right to see the button for "NEW ALBUM"

 

also you have things list a bit out of order?
