Panamommy Posted March 26, 2009 Share Posted March 26, 2009 Hi, everyone. In another century (and in another country! ) I was involved with MrsSurvival. My ID then was TNRN. But that's ancient history. At any rate, my DH and I have retired and moved to the mountains of Panama where it is eternal springtime. Even so, we are concerned about the global economy and continue to prepare ourselves. Preparation is a whole new challenge down here: many of the "convenience foods" and even preparedness items so abundant in the States are just non-existent here. For example, I can obtain dried corn (maiz) by the boatload, but whole wheat is not to be found. It took four months of searching to locate whole wheat flour! Anyway, I'm back. For what it's worth.
