chefddr
[/color Hi everyone~ My last post before today was August 24th the day classes started at the College I am attending, three more weeks and my first semester will be over (well almost for me, I am taking an incomplete in one course so I have to take 3 exams after the first of the year to get my final grade, yes it is THAT overwhelming for me!) anyway, I am in the Legal Studies Program and taking the Associates Degree Program to get my Paralegal training (once again~I ahve a certificate from over 25 years ago and haven't worked in 16 years so I needed to start over) It sure is harder this time around! One reason I was so determined to get back here was someone in another group I am in asked me about the 100 things that disappear first in an emergency that I mentioned in a reply to a post, and I realized that when my computer crashed I lost the information. Would anyone know where I can find that very important information to share with my friends on CafeMom? I even had it in a presentation I did for school last spring and can't find that either. Anyway, it's good to be back, for now, I will try harder to get here more often but I can't make any promises. Classes start again January 14th, and between now and the 15th of December I have 3 quizzes and 2 MAJOR EXAMS IN MY PARALEGAL COURSE and a HUGE PORTFOLIO TO DO FOR MY ENGLISH COMP CLASS! I spent the Thanksgiving holiday at home wtih mom and did my powerpoint presentation on my favorite Charity for my class tomorrow, it took me 4 days to get it just right and when I went to put it on today to do the final timing of it it had become corrupted and was GONE!! FORTUNATELY, I had sent a copy of the file to a friend in Alaska and she was able to email it back to me, it only took me 3 hours to redo it and I will do the timing on it tomorrow in the morning when the kid goes to schoool and present in the afternoon. If anyone gets a chance to read this, and is someone who prays, I would appreciate any prayers tomorrow as I am pretty nervous since I never did a PowerPoint presentation before! Also if you could PLEASE keep me in your prayers for the next few weeks until the semester is over on the 15th I may just survive! It was a rough semester, with me ending in the hospital with what we thought was a heart attack for 2 days, thanking God for my boyfriend (of two weeks at taht time) who caught the ball and ran with it, rushing home from work and taking care of my kids! One neighbor instead of trying to help whe he saw my son crying on the front stoop called the POLICE who called me in the ER!! yeah, true!! THANKS FOR LETTING ME RUN ON, I AM SORTA FULL OF LOTS OF ANXIETY RIGHT NOW AND I GUESS I WENT OFF ON A FEW RABBIT TRAILS! Link to comment
