Southern Plains Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 I subscribed several months ago and then got really busy with company every week for 6 seeks straight. I love my friends, enjoy entertaining, and miss them when they are gone but the spare time disappears when the doorbell rings. Anyway, I'm an Oklahoma farm girl that went off to see the world and then came back to the farm. We (hubby & I) have started a market garden along with laying hens and pastured meat birds. I did most of this when I was a kid so the 're-learning curve' hasn't been too bad. However, somewhere during the 30+ years I was off doing other things, the "you-ain't-so-young-any-more" 'flexibility curve' is turning out to be a little on the steep side. LOL I'm looking foreward to reading what the wise women here have to say and gaining from the collective experience. Hopefully I might be able to add a little something too. That is after I've figured out how to work this cyber communication thing. Link to comment
