"New posts" button?

Recommended Posts

Okay, so its been a little while since I've been here and everything looks different.  What happened to the "new posts" I used to be able to click on to see whats been happening since the last time I checked in? I tried "unread content" but just got messages that someone had responded to someone else's question.

There is now a tab, under our name/logo, titled "Activity ".

When I get home to my computer I will post a screenshot.

On a mobile devise, there's three lines, at the top of the page next to the search button.  Touch the three lines and choose 'activity '.

Translation:  "someone has responded to someone else's question (or someone else's topic in _____ forum)

........means that there has been a new post in a thread in _____forum.

If you've been gone a long time, you will have a zillion in the UNread Content pages BUT you can set many different parameters such as:

---posts tagged a certain way

--content types

--read or unread

--content you started or participated in or content by certain members

--time period.....you get to set how far back you want to see threads/posts

--start from oldest post or the most recent

You find all those optional settings on the Unread Content page....near the top in a line of boxes ....under "UNREAD CONTENT".
