Mt_Rider Report post Posted August 16, 2018 Thanks for the heads up. I just bought Signature Kitchens brand of old fashioned rolled oats. I don't see it listed. Miss Wormie....wonder how they're doing.... MtRider ...any recall notification is going to always make us think of him...
Jeepers Report post Posted August 17, 2018 Thank You Annarchy! I do miss Wormie's posts too. I have some Nature Valley bars from Sam's Club. They aren't on the list though. Good thing because I usually eat about 4 a week. Notice the "Organic" items on the list.

Mt_Rider Report post Posted August 17, 2018 Well.....dishonesty certainly is one reason. But there are other reasons. Wind Drift is one reason for cross-contamination....tho I'm not sure how Round-up is applied. If it's sprayed....that carries a long ways.....which is infinitely IRRITATING to the real organic farmers! Seepage contamination with water...flooding or irrigation water source? MtRider .....the insidious Round-Up ....will it get a "black-eye" this time or slide free again?
TheCG Report post Posted August 21, 2018 I wonder if the organics have to be hauled on separate equipment the way stuff that's actually gluten-free has to be, or if that could be another point of contamination. Interesting.
