Snowmom
Here is the url for the u-tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDWrSONzYcg This little baby was born with a blockage and his kidneys were not working. He had to be on dialyses every night for 12 hours. He has had surgery now and is doing good. Link to comment
JennysMom
Thanks Snowmom for giving the description and re-posting the Youtube link. Yea, Keston developed life-threatening kidney complications while he was still in the womb and after he was born, needed a kidney transplant, and being that newborns are too small to accept a new kidney, they had to keep him alive with a dialyses. Like Snowmom said, he was on it every night for 12 hours for 15 months! And this whole time - the mom is a single mom, with 2 other kids. It really is an amazing story. You can go to PCHhandprints.org to watch the story (since youtube didn't work) and to watch other stories Link to comment
