Weather.com is saying a months worth of rain could come in a day. That is supposed to be south and West of us in Oklahoma. That would mean anywhere from 4-15 inches of rain! Accuweather is not a good forecast for here so I never check it. It was 70 here yesterday. Temperature from early morning can rise as much as 40 degrees. It was clear this morning but now cloudy with moisture laiden clouds coming in from the south heading northwest.

Just make sure you get a really good inspector. I found things he never checked. The ones he pointed out were not even of major importance. Beautiful day,need to mow ,but will see if a drive first will give me my breath back. Three cases of pneumonia in 5 years have done a number on my lungs.

Rain, maybe I will get to burn my trash today....we have been in a burn ban... I planted potatoes last night after I mowed the lawn. It was so dry it was was dusty due to the winds we have been having, so I got thoroughly dusted as well.

Laundry done, wood brought in for the week end. Though it is on the covered patio it draws enough dampness to make it harder to start. My sourdough starter needed more tang so set it back out in the cloudy weather to gain more. Then I went to the Amish Bulk store for more bread flour, and found rye flour! Came home cut up the last pumpkin and it was so hard! I will be drying it when it is cooked, my lunch is baking along with the pumpkin. The bed is changed and those dresses 3 of them lack so little...

After sweeping , laundry, working in the yard I mowed yes I mowed my immediate lawn yesterday. I have never mowed before April and usually wait until May. But people were still mowing in December. This has been a different winter!Then I hemmed one dress..still not confident about hemming on the machine. Today is beautiful, calm, clear and cool.

Is there anyone has high speed internet and a high speed printer? I have a printer cord I can use.....

Leave it down or get a winch to have on hand to help you. Can it be wired to stay once it is up? Get that dog you wont regret it!!

Joy is very good about helping me up and has lent her bulk to me for the purpose of pulling me to my knees at least. But she is not as tall as Abby or Koa so there is a limit to what she can do . She does get concerned about me sleeping in my chair in the daytime but I think she is putting heavy activity beforehand as the explanation. No going to bed in the daytime though!!

Where I used to live....someone a few miles from me..won big. Just average earner before ,modest house, he first built houses for his parents and in-laws. Then he got them new cars. Then he added to his own house, made a very nice playground for his children. Nothing was really ostentatious,more a dressing up a plain Jane house/property. His banker was also mine..and he told me that every month he came in for a loan to tide him over until the next check.His wife left him shortly and the place set empty.
