If you go with the two burner coleman stove get the collapsable colemane oven also. it sits on top of one of the burners and it really works for baking. ------------------

    Sigh...

Big Brother, it's always tough having to be the strong one on the outside when someone that you love very much is ill. I watched it for years with Tom. YOu appear strong to everyone else when inside you are crying and wishing there is someone to be strong for you. Men arent so different from women when it comes to pains of the heart, theyve just been raised to not show their feelings. So sad... I love you and peg and if you need me please dont hesitate... love twi

HI MARG... hows our little girl doing? Glad to see you posting!
  17. DebbieLee we use a good degreaser to take out grease stains.... if that doesnt work drycleaning! always wash your clothes in COLD water.... it wont set a stain after washing your clothes check to see if the grease is gone... if not let it drip dry and get it drycleaned.

    So..What do you all drive?

LOL well my car still needs a new motor mount.... the water pump just took a massive dump so to speak and the oil pan developed a cancerous area.. yeah yeah you guessed it... thank goodness the rush spot waited till the Giant had it in the shop (to replace the water pump) to finish eating all the way thru...... what an oily mess!
  19. HI JuneBug...I'm praying as i write this for you and your family. As the mother of a child with bipolar maniac depression I can only say hang on to your hat and get your daughter to a doctor. rule out physical problems and then have her checked for bipolar as NANA advised you. It was touch ang go when my oldest DD was growing up... her problems hit when she was around 12 years old. but medication,a good psychologist, biofeedback, and good friends have given her her life back... she is now married and has two children and a wonder person to be around most of the time .. .. when she hits a maniac high everyone tells her they love her, take her pills and they head for the hills so to speak... Your DD cant help what is going on, depression controlls you you dont control it.. especially at her young age. DH is probably trying to figure out how to survive this himself.. keep us posted as to what is happening we are here for you. twila

HI Lynne, you will find that most here are christian. But we are a family, we laugh together, cry together, play together and sometimes we agree to disagree with each other... we pray togehter and for each other. we dont discuss religious values here on the site, nor race, creed or color... women are women, people are people.. As i tought my children religion or color dont matter... when we are cut we bleed and when we're hurt we cry... we are human, all with faults and frailties. we live all over the country, in fact all over the world but we are close... as close as blood relatives can be. Many of us have met in person, but we have met in the heart and that is what is most important. I am closer to some here than I am with my biological family... and this is home to me... I can come here to complain, rejoice, ask for prayer, share prayers for others, share knowledge , gain knowledge... we are simply a family by choice and as you read and get to know us all you will see what mrs.s is all about.... right down to our big brothers, ed and captain kirk........ and a few more.
  22. I wish I could just put my arms around you and hug you till you felt a little better. I lost my grandson a year ago this month and my Da siz weeks later. I know the pain and hurt and confusion... my prayers are with you nana and your brother and sister also. may god bless. twila
  23. Ever see a beautiful dress you want to buy and it says Dry Clean Only ? Check the label closely, if its is 100% polyester you can launder it at home your self! I have cleaned the most beautiful wedding dresses recently and yup, you guessed it... they were 100% polyester and I put them in a mesh laundry bag for delicates, tossed them in the washing machine and used Woolite for Delicates ,an extra rinse cycle with extra fabric softener and cold water to "WASH" them. After they were done with the second rinse cycle I hung them up to drip dry and then they were steam pressed. Clothes that have a very strong smokey smell are washed with 1 scoop of a good powdered detergent, 1-2 scoops of a powdered dish washing detergent with lemon and 2 scoops of plain old Baking Soda. One or two washings with this combination will take the odor of smoke out of the clothes and they are as good as new. Clothing with spandex can be washed as well... just remember that heat damages the spandex, we "air" dry our spandex that is washed and it is just fine. Clothing that is made of Rayon SHOULD be drycleaned to avoid horrific wrinkles that are very hard to steam out during pressing.
  24. Goosie, try the fabreeze and then put the yarn outside in the fresh air and sunlight for the day.... I had to do fur collars alot at the dry cleaners and i steamed them down then fabreezed them and out in the sunlight for the day! bingo all odors were gone... even smoke from house fires.
