This week I have been freezing strawberries from our patch. Started about 4 years ago with 3 plants and this year we have harvested over 4 gallons so far!
We are experimenting with something called deep watering the eggs. Use pickling lime and distilled water, plus fresh unwashed eggs. We have had them on the shelf for 2 months and they are fresh as new.
Help! My layers are producing faster than I can use or sell! I have made tons of noodles, eaten eggs until I am cackling and I think I heard my hubby crow this morning! We don't have a big enough connection to sell, and are getting g over run. Any suggestions?
We have been canning chicken. I don't like the news I am hearing about the bird flu, and what they are doing to combat it. Trying to get myself ready for what is coming next.
