  1. this is the one I have... I just have a couple of pounds of wheat berries in the freezer... Good thing because it doesn't go very fast with this one!
  2. Chicken I usually cook first.. Beef I raw pack.. I have never had it come out tough and the broth it makes in it's own jar is wonderful!

  4. I ended up blanching most of the five heads of cabbage I got out of the garden this morning.. But I did do 3 quarts of saurkraut..

  6. I got my coffee samples this weekend.. They are instant.. Comes in single serving packages.. They sent me enough for 18 cups!
  7. How do you make yours? I usually shred the cabbage, fill quart jars with cabbage, 1t canning salt then fill with boiling water.. Put on seals and rings and let set for 6 weeks.. Then process.. Anyone else make saurkraut?

This weekend while we were camping I put a chicken breast in a large square of foil and I added sliced potatoes and onions, shredded cheese, butter, salt and pepper and some bacon pieces..Wrapped them up with an extra sheet of foil. Then put them on the grill over the campfire.. Wow was that ever good! I had greenpeppers I was going to add but forgot to..
  11. Mom used to make Salmon patties (just like your tuna patties) and Salmon Soup... I think it was nothing more than adding milk and butter to the salmon with salt and pepper..
