I haven't posted much lately, just shared some free book links. Life just gets SO busy. Not enough hours in the day. We're getting ready to bring home LILDD this weekend. She had summer classes at college. Not sure if it'll work out for her to return there, or not. But we're not gonna worry about it. It might be a good thing if she doesn't. Hubby got eye and dental insurance for the first time ever this year. His workplace finally offered it. But it's grossly overpriced and we're finding they deny stuff WAY too much. Not gonna renew it. But we're getting our teeth fixed and good eye care while we still do. I did have the opportunity to have a lunch out with Homesteader before she leaves to go back to Wisconsin. It was a nice time and God used her to speak some truth to me. I miss you all. I miss the daily interaction that has fallen by the wayside for *life*. You are in my prayers and I hope things are improving for you.

Welcome back! These are difficult times, and I believe that any kind of "preparation" is not wasted time and effort. Wow, sounds like you got lucky! My DH even has a pond with fish in it, but he rarely goes fishing these days. I end up making them "pets", as they get as excited as the turtles do when I throw the food in! Probably should stock more supplies this summer, though. Grandkids are getting to a good age for fishing. Thanks for the "heads up"! I'll look around more the next time I go there. (And don't worry about the duplicates. It happens. Makes me feel needed when I can still help. LOL )

DD has Prime because of being in college. And we use it, too, because hers is tied to DH's account. Yes, if you do not see that an item is connected to "Prime", it'll take longer. They will say ships from another source or something. We like it especially when gifts are involved, but that's not that often for us. Nothing is ever "easy" these days.

Weird, Jeepers. I did NOT delete your post that was kind of like what you wrote today. But it's still gone. I'm so sorry.

Hugs (GENTLE hugs!) for all of you. We've learned more than we like about pain and management after DH's hip replacement surgery last September. Just so ya know, I merged & cleaned up the duplicate threads into this one thread. I'm pretty sure I only took out the references to that.
