An email message received from friends who attended a conference in Hawaii... The plea for prayer came from the Children who gathered on the Big Island of Hawaii last weekend for the "Psychic Children Speak to the World" conference. Now they have asked that we expand the vigil to include all world leaders, especially those who are most involved in the current war in Iraq. They believe that offering our prayers of peace will actually inspire them to make their decisions based upon the good of all. Wherever you are at that time, please stop and join the world in prayer. We believe that millions of people will participate, adding their energy to this essential movement.

The fabric shops are currently well stocked with polar fleece. I think it runs between 50 and 60 inches wide. This might be something to consider for a quick window quilt. Just cut it to the length you want and sew a casing at the top or cut "buttonhole" slits at the top and slide a rod through. Oh, and here's something that worked several years ago for a north window with a casing 4 or 5 inches deep. I had a loose-weave curtain on a tension rod just inside the opening. In the winter I used a second curtain , also loose weave, halfway between the outside curtain and the window. It was an effective arrangement because the fabric was enought to trap air layers as insulation without trapping moisture and blocking outside light entirely. You could feel the different temperatures of the air layers Fleece might be more effective for both layers. Not sure how much light would be blocked.

Ramen noodles, seasoning and other ingredients were mixed ahead and refrigerated till serving time. The time that Homey and DH were in the Philipines or somewhere would be a date clue. I think it may have been when the board was being redone. If Homey is still in touch, she may have the recipe or know where or when it was posted. Thanks
