I am reading a great book by Jay Kumar called "Dark Woods" right now. Its a thriller about people hunting a sasquatch. I have always been into spine tinglers slash horror books and tried to find this one for awhile but it was always to high priced on ebay( for second hand ) finally found it at abebooks, it was worth the wait

As of today I think I can finally say I'm ready for Xmas, So Many things to think of and buy and bills to shuffle around... Kind of takes all the fun out of the holiday But Merry Xmas to you all and take it easy

As I speak it is only 18 degrees out, supposed to be 5 below tonight!! The furnace is running quite a bit so I guess I should start a fire. The first below zero is always such a shock to your system!!

All the females in my family love scented candles as I do and I found the most beautiful candles for Xmas presents online at a site called Victoria's Candles, I think I would have to say they are the very best I have ever bought, I bought my self a couple and I am burning a lily of the valley one right now and it is unreal the smell is all through the house!! The shipping was fast too only 5 days, so you would still have time if you wanted to buy some for presents. It is also a lovey site to look at......

Well the turkey is in the oven ...the pies are made just have to peel the yams and potatoes and make the gravy then I will be done OH NO! dont forget the cleanup 11 people with countless plates and silverware(grumble grumble) Well have fun everyone and dont eat tooooo much!

I'm addicted to amazon and half com for my books. I love to see a book I want and simply put it in search and VOILA! there it is, some times at amazon you can get a book for as little as a penny, the shipping and handling isnt to bad if you can find more than 1 book from the same seller.

OH Nooooo Unikemom!!! It was the monster of all caterpillars I swear! everyone I showed it to remarked on how fat it was, Winters are always tough here in northern NY but this one has me a little worried

I just went out onto my front porch and saw a catepillar That was pure black!!! I have never seem this before, has anyone else? And what is that supposed to mean weather wise?

Hi Everyone, I've just put my grandson to sleep for his afternoon nap we have been outside all morning it is so beautiful out it brings tears to my eyes,it is 74 degrees and there is a slight breeze, the trees are turning and the sun was casting shadows all over. Kolby and I just walked all over on the sidewalks, I think he was in awe of the day as much as I am because he walked for a long time in silence just like me and pointed with one chubby finger at things he wanted me to look at instead of speaking. He will be 2 next month and is starting to really look at the world now, it makes me enjoy things that I normally might have ignored or missed such as pretty colored leaves on the ground or ( with a little frown on his face "what's that?) GEESE!! in the air honking! Sometimes I am afraid I will hug him to hard and hurt him!! Have a nice day everyone and GET OUTSIDE FOR AWHILE!!
