Hi sas!! We made it too...our lights browned out a few times and a few flickers but we still have power...we are soooo snowed in here...I either have to go down a very long steep hill or a twisting turning road to get to town and i cant find out from anyone or anything how the roads are. Last evening there was a half an inch of ice and then all the snow on the road and its still there this morning...now its blowing around and the dogs are having fun playing in it lol...any idea when we will get out of this mess? stay safe and warm there yall

Im reading ACLS alogarythms and learning activities. I have to take ACLS at work in march...ugh...thats advanced cardiac life support for the non medical people...sorry..its kind of heavy reading lol but i want to become an ICU nurse so its required reading

sorry you were feeling bad unike but glad you are better today. Things in this neck of the woods have been going well so i cant complain about a thing. I did manage to get a flu shot this week and am glad i did although i got a little sore for a day or two. But I didnt want to bring the flu home from work and give it to dh. It's so bright and sunny here today...already 51 out there, but it will change tonight. it is supposed to snow later tonight and tomorrow during the day. DH went out to get supplies and kerosene for the heater. When he gets back, im off to finish Christmas shopping. I hope yall have a great week-end and bundle up cuz its fixing to get really cold out there by the end of sunday.

welcome back strangers glad you had fun hunting and hope everyone is all better now.

Well the rain has started in west TN and its cloudy, cold and ucky. Kind of how i feel today. It's been a rough week, my first one back working the floors of the local hospital. Being an RN seems to have gotten harder the past year. We have a ton of LPN's working and they are great too, but some things they can't do which leaves it to the RN to do her work and some of theirs too. My foot ends up so swollen by the end of the night that i think i will have to cut my shoes off when i get home. I dont think my doctor is going to like this part at all when i go see him next wens. But, unlike some, I have a job that pays half way decent and the bills are finally getting caught up so i shouldnt complain. I still feel like im missing out on something work wise though. Like im not fullfilled enough. Crazy isnt it? I help keep people alive or help make their passing easier and i dont feel fullfilled.

Just finished the Godfather yesterday at lunch. Next im going to delve into a classic....Little Women series. It's always fun to read on cold evenings

Since we are getting deer this fall, I was wondering if anyone here knew how to tan deer hides or has ever tried to do one and how it turned out?
