Hit a great meat sale and really stocked up on pork roast and chicken. They had chicken thighs ( good meaty ones) ten pounds for $2.89. Needless to say, I won't need to get any chicken for awhile. Freezers are now packed again!!!

Finally finished my kitchen!!! New countertops, new sink and a wonderful new faucet!!! It only took three years...

I carry a police baton with me when I run. It is about the size of an ink pen but thicker, and you flick it and it comes out. It is metal and works well with dogs. No one even knows I have it

I have her book about growing and canning. It is pretty good. My ony complaint is her growing part is geared a lot more towards where she lives so it is of little value to me. Her canning part is pretty good, she has lots of good recipes to use canned items in also. She goes step by step on the canning too.

I will wrn y'all. Once you try I love this yarn , you won't go back!!! I crochet several hours a day and it is the only one I can use, the others leave my hands raw!!! It is truly wonderful!!, and being able to order online makes it where it doesn't matt how much you need, it will all come in with matching lot numbers within a week!!!!

You should try hobby lobby brand yArn called "I love this yarn". It is super soft!!! It is the only kind I will use anymore. You can order it on line or get it in the stores!!!! Very worth it!!!!

We went last night for the 8 and the 10 sales at wal mart. I love it!!! We do it every year even if I don't want much, I think it is fun. Dd got to go this year for the first time and loved it too, so I guess I have a future partner in crime!!!

I just bought a new freezer. That makes two uprights and three chest freezers total. I need this many at different times of the year, and then slowly can and empty them. I have one full of beef, one chicken, one quick meals, and two for hunting. In January when hunting season is over, I will can the two freezers of deer, quail, duck and turkey. Once that is done I will probable can up some more of the chicken and beef too so I am not so reliant on the freezers. I have Five generators if needed so I don't worry about the power going out, if I thought it was going to be long term, I could keep them cold while I can everything in them. ( hubby uses four of those generators for work and one of them will run my whole house with air conditioners etc running)
