It actually hit 79 degrees one day! We are expecting snow Thursday night... bottom area of the storm Quid ( ?) South central Nebraska. Its predicted by weather.com though. It will warm back up. ( not really warm though, but still, 60s some days. Really weird. Ive got relatives and friends keeping an eye on all the storms in California. Well, hoping some of those reservoirs are starting to be restored now. Some literally overflowed, Central valley is a mess. Even San Jose flooded, still flooding. Lots of snow in Sierras.

the order finally went through. I had to increase my spending limit per day at my new bank. sigh. Question will I have to wait til Monday or Tuesday before it arrives? I still have to try and dredge up the next scene I had written, which got 'stuck' .... on my wee tablet..... electronics fiascos, they sure are aggravating. At least I have spare flash drives.

Should be getting a new one soon. Any of you tech minded ladies out there can you give me some tips on Windows 10? Did they sort out glitches? I am switching from dinosaur versions of the past with Windows being so updated. Would getting Windows 10 for Dummies book be a good idea ? Those books are pretty straightforward. I am going to keep it fairly simple for writing and simple business mostly. Some photos in albums and such, folders, per se. My socializing is minimal. I may eventually have video capabilities so any good video cams that are not real expensivle, those suggestions are needed too. Maybe some garden plan software and things like that. Suggestions on freeware for utilities that are not very complex works for me. Malware cleaner, discclean , defrag suggestions needed. It has been a while! I appreciate the help! Will get word and search for a good printer for it soon too. Maybe March or April. I have 4 books going , 3 need editing, and 1 was..... in progress and my wee tablet ate my word program on it off the desktop and I cant get it back! 400 pages I was transcribing by hand to go too of what I had written....... ugh! Finally bit the bullet and trying to use my new bank card ..... ugh! So, easy simple suggestions please.... I will be taking notes!

I hope they find your car. Mebbe looking into a car dealership or mechanic who is good , changing to some new door locks would be a good idea if you get it back intact. Heck of a story on these pukey thieves. If they would just stash their 'extra' cash for a year or so they could afford a used car of their own.

It warmed up, a lot, went up beyond forecast supposedly...... in the forties though, for sure. Breezy outside. Evidently some county near by had fires, range fires... It is still very dry despite some bits of rain and snow the last several weeks. Wind just dries it all out again.

Okay, will use the table salt. Just need to keep enough to bake with...... thanks. ( Feels stupid, brain blips when deal for ice melt was great compared to hardware store situation here.) Next month I will get that and a bag of sand. I prefer to use sand on ice anyway. It is very cold windchill..... 2F degrees and -8F windchill...... Rather glad I have plenty to do inside today, as well as I can simply go wash my hair!

Sounds good gofish. There are good knitting groups and crochet groups on facebook if you are a member, too, folks will help you learn. Also youtube has lots of good videos of knitters who help folks learn. I have stitch dictionaries and such if you need any help. I have books too but have not gotten into complex knitting yet, like sweater making . One of these days I will. I got the heel and heel flap done and gusset started smoothly........ Mt. Rider...... it is getting easier! Picked up the stitches easily this time! Found some of my sock and worsted yarns and some of my DPN's and things like stitch markers and cable needle and at least one tapestry needle.
