  1. Wow, I'm adding my prayers for you Westbrook. Pixie called me and left a message just to tell me.
  2. If y'all think these three are cute, wait 'til you see our other sister's (I think her username here is cecz) blonde princesses! They're all gorgeous. We'll probably have ugly baby boys to compensate ;-) ~Jo

    Magic Marker "Safe"

I always loose markers...not a good idea for me ;-) I used to keep $20.00 in my purse at all times (not in my wallet), just in case my credit card didn't work when I tried to pay the taxi driver at midnight after work. Unfortunately, I told my husband about it once, so he kept "needing" it. ~Jo
  4. It was a long time ago...1998 or 1999. I was bored, and web surfing. I think I was looking for things related to the Swiss Family Robinson or something. I was 15 or 16 years old but everyone welcomed me, young as I was. I've come and gone several times since then.

  6. Yay! Now I can steal them!
  7. Wow, that's great! Congratulations on the progress.
  8. I learned that when I ignore my garden, the slugs take over in the back, and the weeds take over in the front. Lavender does quite well if it needs to be ignored, as does sweet woodruff, tickseed, english box, and chives. I am going to plant more lavender next year...it makes my front garden look so nice. Clematis does not like to be ignored. I learned that if I don't trim our hedge when the neighbours (who share the hedge) are trying to sell the house, they will do it for me, which is great, but it looks a bit lopsided. Oh well, at least it got done ;-) I also learned that my yard
  9. Thank you, I needed to hear many of these. ~Jo
  10. Hmm...cats cradle...sure, now that we've finished with the whipped cream. *clumsily knocks the lid off of a suspiciously large crate* Oh, what's this? Chocolate? Pixie, I think I found someone's secret emergency stash! Shh! Mother, there was at one time 3 other members of one family...two sisters and a son. That was a long time ago though ;-) ~Jo
  11. Welcome Carmen-E! (can you hear me through the door of this closet that I'm locked in?) Glad you're here! ~Jo
  12. If Pixie goes, and I can convince Kev that you are all real people and not crazy internet stalkers, I would love to come! Really, I've "known" some of you longer than I've known him! I may or may not bring Juli. Darlene, though I don't say much lately, I've been enjoying your adventures. You are one of the strongest women I know. ~Jo

I haven't really posted much about the baby. Pixie posted an announcement and picture when Juliana was first born. Juliana was born July 5 after I was ordered into the hospital by my doctor (because I was 7 cm dilated, with no pain, and she said that the baby would just fall out). I had only 2 hours of the most intense pain of my life, and was in and out of the hospital in 24 hours. She is the first grandchild on my hubby's side, and the fifth granddaughter on my side (no boys). She's now 3.5 weeks old, and very sweet...and a bit cranky. I'm hoping that's just because she's a littl

Apparently, I missed my birthday too! Thanks everyone. I've been reading some of the posts here over the past few days...there's not much else to do when feeding a hungry baby ;-) See, I always come back eventually! ~Jo
