  1. MtRider, with the pellet stove are you waiting for parts or a repairman? I'm curious as we have a pellet stove and (thankfully) we haven't needed any new parts this winter.
  2. Jeepers, I'm sorry this happened! I don't think it would be so safe to stay there....water, dampness, mold, water contacting electricity isn't good....
  3. Thank you for thinking of me, Jeepers! It is not safe for me, but wow, that's a good deal for people that can eat it!
  4. EmeraldCat, for heirloom seeds: Seed Savers Exchange https://www.seedsavers.org/ Mary's Heirloom Seeds https://www.marysheirloomseeds.com/ Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds https://www.rareseeds.com/
  5. My doc warned me to stay away from mag oxide as it is so poorly absorbed. In Dr. Carolyn Dean's The Magnesium Miracle book, she also warns against it. Magnesium citrate is a good mag supplement, but can be an excellent laxative-- finding where you are on bowel tolerance to it (amount you can take without loose stools), taking it in divided doses, and taking it with food is important. I have everyone in my family taking mag citrate, including DD, and we've all seen improvements. Doc recommened a magnesium bis-glycinate supplement and I can tell by my symptoms that I am absorbing it better than the Mag citrate. I have had severe health issues that got to a very bad point a few years back that have improved (and a few symptoms are even completely gone! I am so thankful!!) by treating my magnesium deficiency. The Magnesium Miracle book is excellent. There was someone else here reading it, too....Daylily? I'm not a doctor, my doctor is not your doctor, do your own research.
  6. Praying for all those affected.
  7. https://www.seedsavers.org/ Seed Savers Exchange is reputable for heirloom seeds. They are having a sale. 40% off individual seed packets until supply lasts. Sale ends Tues. (Mods, if I have this in the incorrect place, please feel free to move it.)
  8. Thanks for sharing that Jeepers. Lehman's is carrying the Superb lids and I saw there was a review on Rural Revolution http://www.rural-revolution.com/2022/08/product-review-superb-canning-lids.html, but I wanted to see several reviews on them before considering buying them.
  9. Jeepers, next time your doc runs blood work on you, ask them to check your zinc level. Low zinc can cause loss of sense of taste.
  10. We're keeping her hair the same style (??) as now, just need to take off 6 inches or so. My concerns are 1. getting the ends even and 2. making it look like it's not just chopped (if that makes sense). DH said I should have paid attention the last time I got my haircut, but they always have me take my glasses off and I can't see then. DD is not confident in MY ability to do this (me neither, kid!), but is offering to cut it herself (no, no, you will not. Jeepers' GS tried to cut his own hair, I saw the pictures. no)
  11. LittleSister, I want to let you know that I haven't sent you (or anyone else here) any messages nor emails. If anyone has received any messages or email saying that they are from me, someone is scamming or something.
  12. Is the Bobby Kennedy Jr. mentioned above the same person as the Robert Kennedy, author of The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health ? Sadly, Bill Gates, WHO, and the Great Reset crowd want to discredit and silence him or anyone (everyone!) else even questioning their agendas.
  13. Postage stamps are going up to 60 cents each starting Sunday. Current price is 58 cents. I'll have to remind DH to buy some this week.
  14. I wondered if they'll go after them, too.
