Hi Friends. I Know it's been a long time since I have been here to post, and I'm sorry. I have been very busy taking care of my Dad. On Friday March6, 2015, My Dad went to home to be with Mom. We are not having services, as per his request. Instead he wanted us to wait for warm weather and have an old fashion wake. So, on what would have been his 76th birthday, on June 13th we are having a big BBQ with Dad's favorite music and a spicy foods contest. I know, My dad was weird. lol But I think he was awesome. Love to all, Sue

If you use equal amounts of mackerel and salmon you can freeze the leftover patties and it's less expensive that way too. That worded funny, I know that salmon patties can be frozen too. lol

Also.... If you or your DH are on SSI it is countable income. Puts you WAAAAY over the allowable $2,000 for a very long time.

I always bought flowers for Mom on my Birthday. Seems strange not to. Got phone calls from my kids and FB messages from all my family . Dad made supper for me. That was real nice.

I found a place in my town to buy those chop stix and my youngest DD paints them with enamel paints and sells them for $2 to $5 a pair as hair stix. Think I paid $5 for 100 pair of the stix.

Buttery Round crackers went from 16 to 15 oz. Wouldn't have noticed but I still had a box of 16oz and it was about 1/4 inch taller than the new box. That was no particular brand, because now I've seen it in several brands.

Mom and Dad lost 3 canner weights, both knew that they were put "right there" so they wouldnt get lost while washing the canners (all at different times). Still looking for "rtight there". LOL

Mine has to be Pull-Ups. A toddler doesnt know that they aren't diapers. And the cost.......WOW! Training pants for my kids, or in my son's case, REAL unnershorts, like Dads. LOL. Even the grandkids got underware, not those waste of money,tearaway diapers,

This year, we've had an abundance of cattail, So I,ve gathered many heads. Very light to carry and a little fluff goes a long way. Suzy
