  1. Dr. Brownstein's vitamin protocol. He says the nebulizer protocol is coming another post. https://www.drbrownstein.com/coronavirus-vii:-we-are-ready-and-you-can-be-ready-too!-2/?cat_id=968
  2. I meant to say "You might google David Derry.
  3. The video and protocol I shared a few weeks ago by Dr Wes Youngberg was very specific about the supplements. I'll share it again. Dr Y. doesn't mention a nebulizer but he does talk about an iodine solution that you spray into your nose and mouth, even on your face if you think you've been exposed to the virus. My family has been using that iodine ever since we first read his protocol. It has cleared up a sinus infection that I had. My eyebrow area was so sore, I couldn't even touch my eyebrow hairs but it's fine now. But it seems like a nebulizer would kill viruses that are floating in the air. Note that he says not to spray Lugols into your nose, etc, that it can irritate the mucus membrane lining. The iodine we're using is Bio Forte. It comes with a dropper but you can also order a little spray attachment for the bottle, preferably one for each family member. https://mailchi.mp/7f7ee2ea61ac/immune-support-protocol-if-you-are-exposed-or-infected-with-covid-19 There was an update posted on his clinic site later but I don't know what the changes were. I know this last one is laid out in a very easy to understand and follow way. http://dryoungberg.com/immune-protocol-for-prevention-and-management-of-viral-exposure-or-infection-/ My daughter sent me a pdf but I don't know how to attach it here. You might good David Derry, MD, "Iodine: The Forgotten Weapon Against Influenza Viruses". It's a five page research article with many references. Hope this is helpful!
  4. 15 minute interview with a COVID-19 survivor. PLEASE if you don't do anything else today, watch this short video!
  5. We are all OK, so far. Just going about our daily lives with a few added stresses. We're staying home. Haven't been anywhere since March 18 when DH and I went to town to get Mom's medicine at Walmart. We got the vitamins and other supplements that I ordered. I got an email that my Fllmore Container order of can lids has been shipped. DH was cutting up some logs we were given for firewood and cut through a nail and broke 5 teeth off his chainsaw chain. He'll have to order one online. I don't want him to go to town. He says he's going to the gas station about 15 miles away and fill up the gas cans again. He has been filling up the tractors and lawn mowers with gas. He wants to get onion sets too. We have gas closer, about 7 miles, but they are getting their pumps replaced that they won't be operating for several more days. I was straightening up the "pantry" in the basement and was pleased to find two bottles of hand sanitizer that I din't know I had. DH planted some radish and lettuce seeds in the greenhouse last week. It's time to start a bunch of things. It is SO wet here, there is now way we can plow the gardens. The yard is too soppy wet to mow and the grass is growing. Everyone stay safe.
  6. I had a long post typed Friday telling about our experience in town Thursday but the power blipped off and I lost it. Didn't have to energy to re-type it. Some local people always bring up a semi load of flats of strawberries in March and we went to get some. They come to a small town in the next state, about 20 miles from us. I had a list of things we wanted to get at Ingles, Walmart, Tractor Supply, DH's synthroid, Car Quest, Lowes and the bank. I somehow thought we could get home in time for lunch. Not. It was after 6 pm and I was exhausted. I've had a cold and every time I got in a check-out line, I started coughing. I always coughed into my jacket but people sure looked at me and moved away. Couldn't blame them. Every line was LONG and seemed like every person in front of me had some kind of issue with their credit/debit card or something. Everyone was calm and obviously stocking up. It was strange to see the TP aisle totally empty at every store. I went into Walgreens and asked if they had hand sanitizer. The lady laughed at me. She said they ordered a 5000 bottle shipment and got 6! The smaller drugstore where I picked up DH's medicine said not only they couldn't get the sanitizer, they also couldn't get alcohol, aloe and something else because people were buying it up to make homemade sanitizer. I was so glad to get home. Yesterday evening , DH's sister called to check on us. She lives in MD. They had gone to Sam's Friday and were shocked to see empty aisles--,meat, bread, milk, toilet paper, wipes and sanitizer, and bottled water. They weren't expecting that. They are ones that don't believe in stocking up. They were visiting once and a friend of mine asked her if she ever canned or put up food. she said, "Why would I? I'm 10 minutes from 10 grocery stores!" My friend said, "Well, you might get snowed in!" She said, "No, they always have the roads cleaned off within an hour. I can always get to the store". But last night, she was musing,... "I've got some hoagie buns and some French bread in the freezer. I've got flour, I could make bread." This is a big wake-up call for them. She's always kind of made fun of me for keeping stuff on hand. We only go buy groceries once a month and then DS picks up fresh produce for us in the winter. We grow most everything in the summer that we want to eat fresh. I finally got our vitamins and minerals ordered. So far they didn't flag anything as being out of stock. I was concerned about the B12. I hope it comes. I had big plans today and actually felt like doing something but a friend called and wanted DH to fix his chainsaw. his daughter(who is about my age) came with him. She's a good friend and I love her dearly but they came about 11 am and stayed until about 4:30 so there went my day. But I ordered that stuff after they left so I feel a little better! I've better post this before the power goes off! here is the March 13 update form Dr Wes Youngberg. Good info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZwIGy0AbKM
  7. I want to quote Jeepers! Why does it always quote me? Yes I have pressure canned the off brand jars. I also pressure the mayo jars but for fruit only so it's 10 minutes at 10 lbs at the most for them.
  8. Jeepers, I use off-brand jars all the time and I've never had a problem with them. i even use "gasp" mayo jars to can fruit in. I've had jars break but they have always been old Ball or Kerr jars. YMMV of course.
  9. Well, I'm glad it's not my computer at least. We heard there are no cases in the NC county next to us and haven't heard about any inour county in VA. We all had colds in our house except my 83 yo mother. Then DD and I relapsed. A friend called today and he said he knew a LOT of people that had this cold had a relapsed. How do we know what it really is? No one that I know of has traveled to any other country or state.
  10. Well, I went to the site but I can't figure out how to find anything. It's full of black boxes that say "No Data". It must be my computer.
  11. Ambergris, where do you find those state statistics? I looked on the CDC site and couldn't find anything like that. I would like to know where the VA, NC and TN cases are. Thanks!
  12. Hi Littlesister! I'm glad you found the pdf helpful. I thought it was good too. Sorry to be late responding. I failed to click "Notify me of replies" and forgot I had posted this here. :). Lots of good info here. thanks everyone.
  13. Hi Jeepers, Mt Rider, Ambergris, OOTO, and everyone else too! Yes, a good time to be a prepper. I have mentioned to a couple of people that they might want to make a list of things they might need if they couldn't leave home for a few weeks and get those things. One didn't comment and one said, "Maybe it won't get that bad." It's hard to imagine that it would but it could happen. Later today the one that didn't comment emailed me the news that Italy was on lockdown so maybe it sunk in. I get email updates from the thread Watcha Doing Today so I've been keeping up with y'all but seldom have time to post anything. Take care, everybody!
  14. This is really good. https://mailchi.mp/7f7ee2ea61ac/immune-support-protocol-if-you-are-exposed-or-infected-with-covid-19
  15. Sorry. I don't know how I got it on there twice!
  16. This is a helpful video. the video they mention from the Fallbrook Seventh-day Adventist Church YouTube channel is VERY helpful. Dr. Youngberg also has a VERY helpful pdf protocol here. https://mailchi.mp/7f7ee2ea61ac/immune-support-protocol-if-you-are-exposed-or-infected-with-covid-19
  17. Hi ! Is anyone familiar with Scribd and using it? Apparently you have to join it to access information. There is something i would like to download but I do n't know whether I want to join or not. You can get a free one month trial for free and can download unlimited pages, I think. Can anyone tell me what you think of it and also what you think about privacy issues? Thanks, daylily
  18. Mt Rider, you could make a poultice with activated charcoal. It works miracles on infections. Raw potato scrapings poultices are great for drawing out splinters, bits of metal, etc. If you use charcoal, mix it with water and an equal amount of oat flour or ground flax seed to keep it moist. Make the poultice large enough to cover more than the infected part of your finger. Put something between your finger and the charcoal if you have an open wound because the charcoal and tattoo you if it gets directly in the wound. It can adsorb just fine through paper towel or several layers of gauze. If you have any goldenseal powder, you can also soak your finger in warm water with a little of the powder stirred into it. Hi everyone!
  19. Kappy, It seems you didn't see my guinea comment so I'm re-posting it here. kapppydell, We've had as many as 40 guineas at one time. They are not as smart at chickens. You have to train them to go in a house from a very young age. Even than, every once in a while, they get a wild hair and roost in the trees instead of going in the house. Great-horned Owls love them. It's pretty much impossible to catch them if they decide not to roost in their house. We never saw a tick while we had them and I wish we could have them now. We just can't afford to grow owl and coyote food. Hi Anarchy! Here, Medicare is what you get when you turn 65 and Medicaid is for low income individuals of all ages.
  20. Good grief! It never showed up when I would click Submit Reply and now there it is a bunch of times.

  22. I guess I need to just learn how!
