Jeepers sorry you couldn't find your old phone but glad you got the new one even if it was a pain and not quite what you wanted. I need a new phone too and not looking forward to dealing with that but it's not an emergency I just have a crack in the cover over the camera lens and I like to take photos on my camera so that's my motivation. Hard to justify that only for a camera but I am saving up for it. Got my stepfather in a safe temporary place (see Blue Couch for details) so crisis averted for now. I also found out yesterday I'm getting a raise so that was great news! I had a really challenging year last year at work but secured a very large grant for the company so I think I can breathe easier knowing my hard work has been seen and appreciated. Taking down all the ornaments off the trees today and will leave them up with just lights until Saturday when I can have more time to wrangle them into their boxes

Hope you find your phone Jeepers. I once lost mine in the crack of the seat in the car between the middle and the seat so it wasn't easy to find it. Lucky it had the ringer on so I could hear it but be sure to check around your seat in case it slipped down somewhere strange in the vehicle. Today was a horrible stressful day. Glad the gas leak is fixed Littlesister! I've had a headache all day, my reward for exercising and drinking water before I had my coffee I guess Oh well I'll stick with my new habits and chalk it up to detoxifying from all the sugar over the holidays.

Have been settling in with puppy, Ruby isn't sure what to think I feel she is stressed she's excessively drooling which is weird, and looking every bit like one of my kids when I brought home a new baby so I'm making sure everyone is giving her extra attention before petting or playing with the puppy. We have decided to name her Amber

Merry Christmas everyone! I had a really lovely day and great food and laughs with my family just the ones who are here living with us but it was nice to spend some time all in the same room together as that is rare these days. I got a bunch of books I wanted, a breadmaker and a stick vacuum which I'm super excited about because it will now be so much easier to vacuum the stairs! Everyone was happy with their gifts and Ben was excited to learn about our new puppy.

Hello all just enjoying a very restful Christmas eve morning drinking my coffee with a gingerbread cookie. Christmas gifts are all wrapped and under the tree, cookies baked, and I put down a deposit on a puppy sister for my Ruby today. She will arrive after Christmas My Christmas gift to myself

Glad your GS liver test came back good Littlesister! Jeepers I'm so excited for you that your house is almost all done! I hope you can sell it for a great price and get to finish your move by spring. I'm sure you'll be glad to finally finish sorting through it all and put that part behind you. I'm sure the gifts will be appreciated by patients who need them at your Dr's office I got my shopping done and only one more day of work before I'm on break until the new year! I'm really looking forward to the time off

Renewing my CPR today and going to buy holiday meal fixings.

Book group brunch at my house this morning was so fun. We will meet up again later this month to go to the Botanical Garden night lights on the 27th. Really enjoy this group of ladies we have a lot of laughs together. I have everything ready for Christmas except still need to wrap which I'll start to tackle this afternoon. Enjoying myself today <3

Jeepers glad there were only minor issues. Honestly I wouldn't worry about the fridge, it's new and a new owner can replace with a smaller unit if they want one. I hope you get a really good price for your house and can put that behind you. Late March seems like a good time to list it so it will close and sell by summer when lots of people move.

Congratulations Euphrasyne! That's wonderful Necie the littles will remember you were the one who brought them gifts. I would be really hurt as a kid if only the adults got gifts. I think for those who don't want material things a membership to a local children's museum, zoo, aquarium or other activity can be welcome. Littlesister I hope that the windows get put in soon. Miki have a good weekend! You always seem to have lots going on hope you get some rest too. I went to quilt guild Christmas party today and had a great time. I won the game and came hope with a pile of fat quarters Also a fun table decoration a mason jar with fairy lights which is now sitting on my mantle. I was voted in guild vice-president so I will be busy next year with quilt guild duties but I really enjoy it so it won't be much work more like fun. This afternoon I'm baking more cookies and then wrapping gifts. Tomorrow I'll pick up the last of the stocking stuffers and then we will almost be ready for the holidays.

Hello everyone. Just getting through the week. My FIL passed on Tuesday evening, so processing my feelings, supporting DH and the kids. I did manage to sew a little today and got some cookie dough mixed up to bake tomorrow for DS 4H party on Saturday.

Mt Rider Brrr that sounds quite nippy! Glad you made it back up the hill ok. I have to warm up like that too when I get cold it goes all the way to my bones and only hot water seems to work to warm up. Necie that looks like a wonderful family gathering Miki glad you got your tree up Littlesister raised garden beds is a great gift to yourself I bought some seeds this week for pure enjoyment, some blue poppies, and a frilly red popp anyd ground cherries. I am planning on doubling my garden next year we'll see how that goes. I want herbs and flowers and more veggis. I made my Christmas ornaments this morning for the Mrs S Ornament exchange. Have such fun doing that every year. I also got all my Christmas cards ready to mail. Packages are starting to arrive so time to start wrapping!

Glad everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We did too. I undecorated for fall today and put up the big Christmas tree in the foyer. Tomorrow the kids will get the decorations down for me. We are also setting up the guest room and that meant moving things out of that room so it was a busy day. I did take some time to relax and read today too.

Had a wonderful meal with friends family and my kids and DH here at our house. Got the kitchen cleaned up and enjoying my down time. Puppy behaved herself all day too which was nice since she isn't used to me cooking all day.
