  1. I say distinct from salinity perhaps not with complete confidence, but I think so. I have come across 'saline' wines semi-frequently, with this being mostly expressed on the nose. However, I have also come across some wines which to me have a distinctly salty note on the palate - i.e. provoking a sensation/taste on the tongue very similar to that which a salty food does, albeit perhaps not to the same intensity and balanced out by other flavours. I've noticed this several times with high quality, older Pinot Noir. Earlier today I was surprised to find this in a Condrieu. Is this something others have found and does anyone know how/why this can occur? And just to confirm - glasses definitely clean and no I didn't have a piece of stilton two minutes before!

It has been displayed in their showroom for the last two years. Apparently, its original price was £16,000 but I can have it at half price. Is it a normal thing to install this kitchen in your home?   4. Hey all, What are people's thoughts are smoking on pellet smokers on lower temps vs a slightly high temp like 225 which still gives a good amount of smoke but gives that little bit more heat. Does that little extra heat allow more smoke to be absorbed compared to the lower temps? I've had my Rec Tec Bull over a year now and just got used to starting a lot of meats at 180(low or Xtreme smoke setting) and not 225. Although a lot of recipes do 225. Perhaps it is just because of time but just got me thinking.
