I say distinct from salinity perhaps not with complete confidence, but I think so. I have come across 'saline' wines semi-frequently, with this being mostly expressed on the nose. However, I have also come across some wines which to me have a distinctly salty note on the palate - i.e. provoking a sensation/taste on the tongue very similar to that which a salty food does, albeit perhaps not to the same intensity and balanced out by other flavours. I've noticed this several times with high quality, older Pinot Noir. Earlier today I was surprised to find this in a Condrieu. Is this something others have found and does anyone know how/why this can occur? And just to confirm - glasses definitely clean and no I didn't have a piece of stilton two minutes before!

Hey all, What are people's thoughts are smoking on pellet smokers on lower temps vs a slightly high temp like 225 which still gives a good amount of smoke but gives that little bit more heat. Does that little extra heat allow more smoke to be absorbed compared to the lower temps? I've had my Rec Tec Bull over a year now and just got used to starting a lot of meats at 180(low or Xtreme smoke setting) and not 225. Although a lot of recipes do 225. Perhaps it is just because of time but just got me thinking.

Whenever I paint my nails they always seem to peel the day after. I am lucky if they last without any chips for two days. They always seem to start peeling after my morning shower. I always put two coats on but it does not seem to do any good. How do you ladies keep them looking so fresh. Is it because you go to a salon? Hi, I have been looking for the best fit dining chair in our dining room area for 4 months..still hasn't found the ONE. I prefer upholstered dining chairs. Need 4 side chair and two end chair. I am also open to mix match the end chair with the side chair. The dining table is in dark brown color with polished nickel stainless steel legs. Trying to clean up the concrete floor in our 100yr old house. There's pits and such that I'm trying to fill and patch. Trying to find the best way to then grind these patches to get the repairs to be smoother. The plan is to paint the floor concrete staining fort myers. Not looking for perfection, but don't want 1-2" pits and/or the ridge from a patch. I'm seen concrete grinding wheels for angle grinders, just confused on what to buy. Box store had something for the 4-1/2"angle grinder for like $60. I was just checking Amazon and found some for $10, that sound good.... guessing different functions?! Can anyone guide me? Room is about 15x30 and only working with the imperfections. I can't recall the exact material being used, but is a quicrete product recommended by one of their reps.
