  1. My hubby's birthday was March 31st. He turned 45 this year. I thought we going to be 46 so I told him hey surprise you are a year younger then I thought lol. He told me I was just crazy. I am so thankful for him and my kids. I look forward to so many more birthday's.
  2. I also use a pill sorter and a clock timer on my phone to tell me when it is time.
  3. I hate taking meds but have learned the hard way if I don't take them on time, or miss a dose then I will have a sezurie. I have certain times of the day that I have to take it and if I miss it or skip it then I will have a sezurie. I have to carry my one medication around with me so that I have it so when we are out I have it. So I also have it on hand.
  4. Thank you all so much
  5. So very true I have noticed who has been there and who can care less.
  6. Since I started having seizures I feel like I have become almost like a burden to them. I never know when I am going to have a sezurie, how long it will last, what type it will it be, will I be able to go to work or not. There are so many questions and so many answers to it all. I will never be who I was but I will be a better version of who I am. I am always learning and growing.
  7. Thank you everyone it has been very hard. We are getting by.
  8. We were getting ready to head over to have Thanksgiving dinner with my husband's family. I get a call from my sister in law she is crying and screaming Rosie is not breathing get here ASAP. I tell my husband we all jump in the car. My husband is a first responder/fire fighter he is going 80. They call again and say she is still not breathing we are giving her CPR ambulance on way. We get there but she passes before we get there. We decided to go ahead and do Thanksgiving and be thankful for everything that she gave us. She was my second mom for 23 years. It has been so hard loosing my second mom. We have my mom left for our parents now and that is it. She just turned 67 and I thank God every day for her
  9. So very true I laugh to cover up souch of my trauma
  10. Thank you for the information
  11. Do you have to pay for the service dog or their training?
  12. I am not sure if I would be a good candidate or not. I don't know who I would talk to about it.
  13. Yes the beeping of the cash register at the store sets the off. The noise of the electric scooter bothers me. I wear ear plugs at all times inside the store and sunglasses on top my head in case I need them if it gets to bright.
  14. It is kind of like it. I can freeze in the middle of eating with the spoon half way to my mouth and have one and they can not get the spoon out of my hand our the bowl. I don't spill my food either it is really weird how I don't spill anything
