  1. I would appreciate your dish soap recipes! I never thought of making my own. I am SO allergic to the store bought stuff! And the "green" brands that i am not allergic to are 7 bux a bottle.
  2. I used to raise meal worms and super worms for reptile feed. easy to breed!
  3. Chicken Curry 6-8 pieces of cicken, doesnt matter what part. lol I use breast. 4 large potatoes peeled and chopped 1 large onion, chopped 3tbs. veggie oil 4 heaped tablespoons of curry powder 4 cloves of garlic, crushed 1/4 inch of ginger root, peeled and finely grated 3 tbs. coconut milk in a large pot add oil on high heat. when oil is hot turn down heat to medium and add the garlic and ginger. saute for a minute. add chopped onion and saute for another minute or 2. add cury powder and saute for 1/2 a minute, DONT let it brown too much. pour in 1/2 cup of water and mix. Add chicken pieces to the curry gravy. add salt if desired. Cover and let cook for 15 to 20 minutes. add the potatoes and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken and potatoes are cooked through. at the end, add 3 tbs. of coconut milk, mix and remove from heat. This recipe comes from the same indian lady who gave me the soup recipe. I usually add far more coconut milk for a creamier curry with more sauce so that we can pour it over rice. Also, I like to use sweet pottoes or yams instead of regular white potatoes. I also add a little bit of brown sugar when i add the curry.
  4. Curried Lentil Veggie Soup 1 large onion 3 medium potatoes peeled and chopped 4 sticks of celery, peeled and chopped 4 large carrots, peeled and chopped optional, 1 cup of peas 1/4 tsp. tumeric 1/2 tsp cumin 3 gloves of crushed garlic 1/4 teaspoon curry powder in a large dutch oven put lentils and 5 cups of water. Add tumeric, cumin and curry powder, bring to a boil. Let simmer for half an hour until lentils get mushy. Add salt to taste at this point. Add all the chopped veggies cook for 20 to 25 minutes at medium heat. Stir often so ti doesnt stick. In a small frying pan add 2 tablespoons of butter at medium heat. add the garlic and saute for a minute. add the chopped onions, saute for 2 minutes. add this to the soup. Optional: add a large chopped tomato at the end. This recipe was given to me by an older indian lady who learned it from her mom. It tastes AMAZING and my kids love it, and it freezes very well!

    DID YOU KNOW

Found of Facebook, havent tried it. "For stains on clothing. Before ever putting a stained garment in the dryer. Lay the garment flat on a waterproof surface ( I use the top of the washer) If the stain is not a grease or oil stain simply saturate the stain with hydrogen peroxide, allow to dry and repeat if necessary. I have even gotten Welch's grape juice out of kids white shirts with this. It will not fade or lighten colors. If the stain is grease or oil saturate it with Dawn dish liquid, let it sit for half hour or so then wash as usual, check to be sure the stain is gone before drying. If the stain is not gone treat it with a mix of the Dawn and peroxide and wash again I have gotten a few stains that went through the dryer out but they are much tougher if they have been dried in."

    Checking in!

it has definately been a challenging year! The man i was seeing turned out to be very abusive, so I left him, made a police statement and long strory short there are assault, assault with a weapon, and sexual harrassment charges against him, trial is at the end of october. Plus he breeched the no contact order by walking up to me in a crowded mall and accusing me of things I never did. BTW, it wasnt me that he sexually assaulted, it was a teenage girl. I found out just before we split that he had been cheating on me the whole tme we were together, I had suspected, but never obained proof till later. I also asked around and discovered that he had been bringing teenagers into the back of his petstore and making fondleing them! Both fortuneately and un fortunately, we had a son together. He turned one yeesterday! We had a nice little birthday party for him. My ex, his name is derek, tried to take sutton away from me through lies and deciet, but the judge wasnt an idiot, and he saw right through dereks bull sh!t I have primary custody, derek only has weekends, but that will change soon enough because I would like to go to school and I would also like to spend time with my son on weekends too! Also, because of derek talking to my lawyer without my permission, and my lawyer being a very terrible lawyer, I lost custody of my 2 oldest. We are trying to work out acceptable visitation. Its a challenge! My oldest, you may remember as Sapphire, well, Sapphire is now identifying as a male, and He is now called Leo. Myself and My ex husband are both supportive of his decision. My family isn't. Its something we are working through, one day at a time. Leo just spend almost 3 weeks with me at my ouse, and it was definately a wonderful visit! I am sad that Morri chose not to visit as well, but I am happy that she was able to come over for Suttons birthday party! All 3 of my kids, in my house! I was so happy! Jo is ding very well! Her and K have just passed thier 10th wedding anniversary. Their 2 children and wonderful, smart and cute and like all kids, they say the darndest things! lol I am going to go visit my family this coming weekend, I am looking forward to it! Also, I am seeing a guy again, my family says that I move too quickly and that i shouldnt date yet. perhaps, but T is so amazing, I dont want to let him get away! besides, he lives 3 hours away, so we have to take it slow! Besides, I have known him for 17 years. SO that is the VERY condensed version of my last year. attached in a pic of my 3 kids.

I guess I'm hand washing for the next week or so while I wait for the parts . Better go up and check out that pioneer laundry thread. me too! I inherited several DIY books from my mom. I have been pouring over them the last day or so since my machine started stinking...still washes, but I don't want to risk a fire with the burning rubber smell and all. I totally plan on fixing it myself. Too bad I don't get a discount at the hardware store anymore!
  18. Some of my favourite books were Anne of green gables, little house on the prairie. I hated the TV series it was too far gone from the books. I liked the love comes softly series by Janet oak, the Mandie books by Lois Gladys leopard(i think that was her name) I used to read pretty much anything and everything. Grace Livingston hills romance novels, I used to read my moms books that she read when she was a kid which included the The Sugar Creek Gang Books and Danny Orlis Series as well. We used to listen to the sugar creek gang radio show through focus on the family on KMBI fm, a radio station out of Spokane. It was on everyday at i think 5 followed by adventures in oddessy.
  19. Your Type is ENTJ Extraverted 1% Intuitive 38% Thinking 25% Judging 1% You are: slightly expressed extravert moderately expressed intuitive personality moderately expressed thinking personality slightly expressed judging personality Rational Portrait of the Fieldmarshal (ENTJ) Of the four aspects of strategic analysis and definition it is marshaling or situational organizing role that reaches the highest development in the Fieldmarshal. As this kind of role is practiced some contingency organizing is necessary, so that the second suit of the Fieldmarshal's intellect is devising contingency plans. Structural and functional engineering, though practiced in some degree in the course of organizational operations, tend to be not nearly as well developed and are soon outstripped by the rapidly growing skills in organizing. But it must be said that any kind of strategic exercise tends to bring added strength to engineering as well as organizing skills. Hardly more than two percent of the total population, Fieldmarshals are bound to lead others, and from an early age they can be observed taking command of groups. In some cases, they simply find themselves in charge of groups, and are mystified as to how this happened. But the reason is that they have a strong natural urge to give structure and direction wherever they are - to harness people in the field and to direct them to achieve distant goals. They resemble Supervisors in their tendency to establish plans for a task, enterprise, or organization, but Fieldmarshals search more for policy and goals than for regulations and procedures. They cannot not build organizations, and cannot not push to implement their goals. When in charge of an organization, whether in the military, business, education, or government, Fieldmarshals more than any other type desire (and generally have the ability) to visualize where the organization is going, and they seem able to communicate that vision to others. Their organizational and coordinating skills tends to be highly developed, which means that they are likely to be good at systematizing, ordering priorities, generalizing, summarizing, at marshaling evidence, and at demonstrating their ideas. Their ability to organize, however, may be more highly developed than their ability to analyze, and the Fieldmarshal leader may need to turn to an Inventor or Architect to provide this kind of input. Fieldmarshals will usually rise to positions of responsibility and enjoy being executives. They are tireless in their devotion to their jobs and can easily block out other areas of life for the sake of their work. Superb administrators in any field - medicine, law, business, education, government, the military - Fieldmarshals organize their units into smooth-functioning systems, planning in advance, keeping both short-term and long-range objectives well in mind. For the Fieldmarshal, there must always be a goal-directed reason for doing anything, and people's feelings usually are not sufficient reason. They prefer decisions to be based on impersonal data, want to work from well thought-out plans, like to use engineered operations - and they expect others to follow suit. They are ever intent on reducing bureaucratic red tape, task redundancy, and aimless confusion in the workplace, and they are willing to dismiss employees who cannot get with the program and increase their efficiency. Although Fieldmarshals are tolerant of established procedures, they can and will abandon any procedure when it can be shown to be ineffective in accomplishing its goal. Fieldmarshals root out and reject ineffectiveness and inefficiency, and are impatient with repetition of error. Hillary Clinton, Napoleon, Margret Thatcher, Carl Sagan, Bill Gates, Golda Meir, Edward Teller, George Benard Shaw, and General George C. Marshall are examples of Rational Fieldmarshals.
