I FINALLY found my password! I’ve been been lurking frequently, but could not remember my password to sign in. I feel like I’m home again. So glad you’ve kept the light on.

We were at a neighborhood watch meeting, and I asked if we should post a sign saying security cameras were in place. She replied that it was an excellent idea for the elderly to have security cameras and to post a sign. DH and I looked at each other and said to each other, "I guess we are considered elderly." We may feel older, but definitely don't feel elderly. Lol

Hello everyone! I look in every once in a while. I miss you all too. Life has been very busy, in mostly good ways. MrMomM is fine. He loves retirement, and I love having him retired! We are eagerly looking forward to grandchild #10 arriving in Jan. He will be our 5th grandson. We are blessed to have all but 3 grandchildren living nearby. I love this site, and how you can be gone for awhile and come back and the same loving, nurturing and compassionate attitudes are still here. Such a great site!

DH has taken the canners back to the basement. My marathon canning sent me to the doctor with muscle strain in my hip and down my leg. Not fun But, am doing much better now. Just no canning right now.

Most of our tomatoes have done well. Only one group of our Roma tomatoes developed tomato rot?? So far, I have canned 14 quarts of spaghetti sauce ( we love spaghetti sauce made with tomatoes from our garden) and I have both canners going with 7 quarts in the big one and 1 quart and 3 pints in the small canner. Will try and make up another large batch of sauce tomorrow, and then can it on Wed. ( just don't have the stamina to do it all in one day). Next project will be canning ground beef.
