I am so disappointed with the CDC! :-( I've always considered them to be the gold standard, and to be above politics. Wow, they really seem to have bungled this crisis, from the get go. I watched an interview with a spokesman from the CDC, this afternoon, and I really felt sorry for him. He seemed to be the designated scrape goat :-( What a mess!

We are home, unpacked, dinner is over, and baths taken. Tomorrow I'll do laundry. We are soooo tired! But, what an unbelievable weekend!

We are in Madison's room. Thank you, Madison! Darlene made chicken chili for dinner, and fresh artisan bread. Wow, was it good! We learned how to make body lotion today and Darlene cut the soap (that we made on Friday). The guys and ArmyofFive4God had fun making holes in paper, while MomM and Darlene talked and did chores inside. We've also had long talks around the dining room table. Friday it rained, today was beautiful but cool. Fireplace is going, and puppies are talking to Wormguy. Not sure what we'll do tomorrow. It's been a blessed weekend. We miss you all.

We missed all the excitement by 45 minutes. Oh darn lol. We've been doing nonstop talking. Breakfast was bacon and eggs on English muffins. Yum! Now, we are getting ready to make soap! Side note: Darlene has 5 puppies, who love to talk/ beg/complain to John all night. Such a restful night lol

Not the car yet, but I'm starting to pack the suitcase. I did however, bake a cake and a batch of brownies, and I'm bringing 3 quarts of spaghetti sauce and 3# of angel hair pasta! and some soda. I have grandiose plans of leaving at 9 a.m., DH thinks noon is more realistic. MtRider, it won't be the same without you! Arby and Momo, we look forward to when you can attend. We will miss all who can't come. Marilyn
