  3. Quote: Last, but not least not everyone talks like that in the south, most of us are in the 21st century.... Ha, Ha, yes we do talk like that, no we are not really in the 21 century like the rest of the country in lots of ways ( we like it that way too) I grew up in Mi- it was pop - moved to Ft. Lauderdale- it was Soda -around here (Deep South)- it is Coke- no matter what you want- I try not to drink Cokes anymore though -Water is my choice bottled drink.

  10. I highly recommend that you read this from a homeschool graduate if you are interested in homeschooling. http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig3/leclair1.html I am editing this to add this article came from the group I homeschool under - Dayspring Academy -they have a ton of really good articles. Here is the link to them: http://www.dsacademy.org/index.html Another of my favorites is : http://www.homeschooloasis.com/main_lobby.html lots of good stuff to read on both sites. I do belong to Homeschool Legal Defense BTW- because I believe in what they do -But my state is super easy to homeschool in -all you have to do is turn in attendance -and be under a church cover group -and BTW I love my HS groups attendance policy read it if you want -it is good http://www.dsacademy.org/absentee.html#schoolyear My favorite homeschool quote is: "Education is not the filling of a bucket- but the lighting of a fire!"
