Watched the news today and they were showing the Thanksgiving "traffic" both at air ports and on metro area highways. I told MM, that's just a snapshot of what the hoards will look like...

There's never an excuse for meanness, rudeness or any kind of beligerant behavior. It's usually because they've gotten away with it from so many people. Know some people in our area who own a large business, but they're AWEFUL! And everybody says about the same thing about them..."if it weren't for their money, they wouldn't have a friend in the world". People like this I just stand toe to toe and smile while turning my back and walking away.

Relocating is a pain extraordinaire! But, the worst part is getting the current property prepped, sold and vacated. Best wishes!

I find this very interesting. I guess I thought they didn't bring "outsiders" in and that one had to be born into the community etc. Anyway...very interesting.

Often the condition of the property will tell you how much the previous owner "cared" for the home. Like Lumabean says...it's not their any more regardless. Also, whether we like it or not, when we open a bank account we usually are not reading fine print that says we're "giving" our money to the bank to do with as they please...even close up shop & take our money! Loans are no different. When we go in debt we know we're at risk should something happen to our finances. Maybe the previous owners will be glad to know somebody who can love & care for the home is taking it and not an investor that will put lipstick on it & try to find some unknowing person to buy problems that have not been revealed. Hope it works out for you & your family. Sounds like what you're wanting!
