Well, I got a ham radio license last month. Always thought it would be cool to have one, ever since I was a teenager, but having to learn Morse code was a problem. I had no idea how to learn it. Well, it turns out the Morse Code requirement has been removed. Then a prepper group I belonged to said at least one person in each 'team' should get a Ham license, and one member started classes. Wondering if there are any licensed Ham Radio operators on MS. I downloaded an Ap to study the Technician level and studied for about 2 weeks. Passed my exam. my DH decided he needed a license too so the next test date he took and passed his technician exam and i decided to take (and passed) the General level exam. My DH is taking his General this afternoon. There are 3 levels of armature radio license. Technician General Extra Morse code is no longer required!!
