This is Friday, the 24th. A neighbor and I went to see DH yesterday and he was doing good, we thought. He was moved from CCU and into PCU. So they also thought he was doing better.

After I got home, got home about 5:30, had fixed dinner and we were eating our DS got a phone call from a friend and was told that they had to put another tube into the right side. So he has a tube in both sides now. Sounds like there is a LOT of fluid built up around both lungs and they are trying to get it drained off.

(((Snowmom))) So sorry to hear of the complication and how hard it has been for you to get ahold of the hospital. You are both in my prayers.

I sure hope you have got to talk to Oldpine by now. I know the hospitals around here are so short staffed too. It must be so frustrating to have to keep calling and calling with no answer.

Maybe he will be all "drained out" soon. I know this is hard on you all.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Snowmom, I'm sure if this was to happen, you'd rather he's at the hospital where they can take care if him. I always worry about people going home before all their needs are met.

Praise God!

I'm with Dee, remember that you must rest too, if only because you need to be an alert caregiver.

God bless you both. If it won't hurt, give Oldpine a gentle

That is wonderful news. I'll keep you both in my prayers anyway and you need to be sure to take care of yourself too.

I'm so glad he's home and on the way to recovery.

I'm praying for strength and rest for the whole family.

Wonderful news! Am so happy for you both. There is no place like home. Now he can truly start recuperating!

Get some much needed and deserved rest!

So true, there's no place like home. I'm glad you have this behind you, and that Oldpine is on the mend.
