how long will it last?

So when an epidemic breaks out, how long is it expected to last? How long (roughly obviously) should we expect to have to hole up?

The Spanish flu pandemic had three major waves. It was the second one that was the most deadly. Maybe the survivors of the first wave thought they were "safe" and took more chances??

if you are preparing for this.. make sure you have 3 waves of easy to cook foods.. you know open jar and heat.

 

To me this means lots chicken soup and broth! but more for those needing to tend to the sick.

 

figure at least 18 months...to be safe. this is why ya plan on 3 years of supplies.
