Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 i have a dear friend of ours who goes to our church. he is like a grandfather to my kids. it is to long of a story to get in to but he and his wife could really use your prayers. he has a pacemaker but in a year ago they left a tube in his side that caused him to have a stock because of the infection that it cost the tube was in him for 3 months before they found out and it got infected very bad. they replaced a lead to the pacemaker and the batter a week ago today instead of him getting better he is getting worst . he goes to the doctors tomorrow to see whats wrong. please pray they find out what is wrong and he gets better soon. thanks Link to comment

It is possible that if they replaced the lead wires to the pacemaker that they may have to recalibrate it. My mom has a pacemaker and had to have it replaced. They constantly check it now, and can even use a computer over the phone to do it but after it was replaced, she was short of breath and we all thought it was the end but we took her to the hospital. In a few days, they had her back up and going with just some tweaks to the thing. I hope this is the case for your dear friend. Link to comment

He went to the doctors and all he said was don't drink so much water and go see another specialist the end of March. He said he feels better (I know he sounds alot better then yesterday. Please if you remember just say a prayer for him. I forgot 1 thing 10 years ago the doctors told him he would not live past the year 2006 well it is 2008 and he is still here. he tells them that he knows a doctor who is higher then them and he Say's when he is leaving this earth. His Doctor is the Lord Jesus Christ. Again thanks for your prayers. Link to comment
