I've been gone a bit, doing a bit of spiritual cleansing and lots of organic gardening (thought of you often as I composted rather than ate the insect marauders wandering through my container garden) I would have deep fried them but well, don't want to aggravate the gall bladder! Hope all is well with you and you'd better get to Darlene's this October. I'm sending some local produce - just harvested to the get together, as well as a special something for you.
