ScrubbieLady
I made a pumpkin pie this afternoon. Used canned pumpkin (I ran out of my own). Anyhow, the recipe is for two 9" pie pans and I have a 10" so I have leftover filling. Anything else I can do with it besides make another smaller pie crest and make another pie. I considered trying to add some flour and see if I can make some sort of bread but don't know. Any ideas? Link to comment
JCK88
Yes.. you can add it to muffins or bread or you can mix it with whipped cream one to one and put it in nice little pudding cups and sprinkle a little nutmeg on it. You can also make a pumpkin smoothie with it... Link to comment
losmom
I add it to oatmeal with some walnuts and spices! Very good! Link to comment
ScrubbieLady
Okay, now, this is the pumpkin mixed with the eggs, spices, milk, etc. Right? I like the whipped cream in pudding cups idea. Thanks. Link to comment
