Cajun Crab Dip

Recommended Posts

I'm posting this recipe here before I forget what I put into it lol. I had recently bought some cajun crab dip from Publix grocery store and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the nearest Publix is about 1.5 hours away so I figured I'd figure their recipe out and make it better.

It tastes just like the Publix dip, only better, so before I forget, this is what I did:

1/2c cream cheese

1/2c mayo

1t Cajun seasoning

1/2 - 1t Cayenne

8 - 12oz imitation crab sliced and chunked

1/2t sweet relish

1 large clove garlic, minced

2t minced onion

2t minced celery

2t minced sweet pepper

1T lemon juice

Mix cream cheese and mayo together well. Add spices, relish, onion, garlic, celery and pepper and mix well again. Fold crab chunks in and it's ready to eat.

Keep refrigerated.

I think that's all I put into it...lol

ooooooops...it's 1/2 cup.

I fixed it.

Oh thank you! I got the stuff today to make this for SuperBowl Sunday. If it's anything like Publix's dip, everyone is going to love it!

I can't stop eating it Q so I'm sure it'll be a hit!

I just remembered something else I had put in it...lemon juice...I added it to the recipe above so just make sure you take note of that.

I think that's it now lol.

Okay, got it now...better let me know before tonight if you decide to dress it up any more. That's when I will mix it up and put it in the fridge so the flavors can "marry" each other. LOL
