Copy machines storing info on hard drives !!!

 

 

This is yet another thing that invades our privacy and puts our identity at risk!! Unbelievable!!

Gadzooks!!!!!!!! Go to the expense of having your own printer with scanner, copy capabilities and destroy any harddrive in it before disposal when it goes bad in due time..... Don't use public copiers anymore!

I'm also wondering about the medical field, doctor's offices and hospitals, etc..insurance companies, banks...

 

This is really upsetting to me as I am a staunch privacy advocate and take great care not to expose my personal info. I shred everything, refuse to use my SS# as an identification except where I absolutely have to, etc.

This is upsetting but having your own copier won't help---what about all the public places that use them to copy documents that they have about us? We're powerless there.
