Why I've been MIA

The last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind. DH went to the hospital for a minor outpatient procedure which ended up being a long ordeal with him in ICU and even on a ventilator for a few days. He was under anesthesia 4 times in 3 days and had surgery 3 times in 2 days. He is one tough cookie. It looks like he is finally well on the road to recovery but he will have to use a walker for awhile until his leg heals up.

 

Believe it or not I am missing some of my "ICU hospital family". It is amazing how close you become when you are together waiting so much!

Did you get some numbers and addresses of the people you met at ICU? Maybe you can be Facebook Friends ? or something like that?

I'm so sorry to hear y'all have been going through this but I'm grateful that he's recovering pretty good now.

 

I got pretty good with crutches with all my knee surgeries, and looked at it as a good upper body workout, which it was.

DH is still in bad shape but he is slowly improving. This has just knocked everything out of both of us!
