Can't edit posts

I am not able to edit my posts, if it has been more than a few minutes. If I write a post and try right away to edit, I can do it, but I can't edit a post I wrote last night. Is anyone else having this problem?

I edited one last night. I see if I can edit this one.

 

Worked okay this time also.

Can you edit any posts your wrote yesterday? Or wrote more than 24 hours ago? I can edit posts I wrote today, but not any that are older than today.

I believe that's a common default, giving a poster the ability to fix a mistake soon after, but not write a post and then rewrite much later - after starting a "ruckus" - to make themselves look innocent.

Anything after that can be edited by Moderators or Administration if you PM them, I'm pretty sure. I know Admin can, and I'm always happy to help.

Those darn rabble-rousers!! That makes perfect sense. I visit some boards that allow you to edit any time, so I just assumed it was the same here. Obviously, I haven't tried it much here! lol.
