A Haitian meal

I have a friend that has a heart for Haiti. She is a nurse and has gone to Haiti about 12 times.

She made a meal for us of beans and rice, a stew, fruit ,fried plantains and a coleslaw that was a bit spicy. The coleslaw was good but WOW.

She and some nurses from this area along with some poeple from Oregon went to Mountain Top Ministries in Haiti.

Not to long after the earthquake. http://mtmhaiti.com/

She was telling us about the trip and said that the medical pepole worked in the clinic and the nonmedical people built a house for a witchdoctor that became a Christan.

This house was a 12 x 15 foot building,3 generations are going to live in this one room house. The former witchdoctor's wife said after it was built the it was the most beautiful home she has ever lived in and it was just how she pictured her home in Heaven would look like.

I feel selfish and unthankful for what God was given me in material possions.
